Hello, I have a discovery I`d like to share with this community.
I found this plant growing in cochabamba 2500m, recognized it as part of the morning glory family, leaves larger , flower white and also larger, same pattern of flowering in the morning, and fruit pods larger, about twice larger than morningglory, and the dry pods give a single round smooth darkbrown seed about the size of a marble.
I kindly and veneratively spoke with it as I collected 3 seeds to take home with me(this year in febuary), genuinely feeling that there was the presence of a lifeform that wishes to comunicate biopsicochemically, even though its proper id is unknown to me.
I eventually thought a variety of turbina/rivea corymbosa Ololiuqhui
Being cautious I opted for a sublingual trial of a single grinded to powder seed 20-30 min in my mouth and then spit out, thinking that if the seed happened to be overly toxic, I wouldnt suffer as much discomfort as if I had swallowed it. And a great result, a euphoric introspective high that indicated potency I hadnt really expected with zero side effects
The next week my cousin and I each swallow a single ground up seed with water, the taste is just like the nutty flavor of morningglory, my cousin comments it to resemble almond, and within 20 minutes we each comment that we feel something, and then just under an hour into it psychedelic effects become forcefully pronounced, euphoric high, visuals and altered perceptions of sound, also an pleasent alteration of corporal perception and motorfunctions (felt like fluffy clouds) , the trip was like between a 2 on a scale of 1-5 in terms of strength , a single seed!
Unlike hbwr or morning glory we both felt zero side effects of nousea, vomiting, stomach discomfort or pain, , though extremely lethargic crash about 5 or six hours after, dificult to keep eyes open. I suspect making a coldwater extract with more seeds could minimize these effect and make posible a much stronger trip. The single seed weighed .5g but had the strength of 6g of morning glory
Wow!! Right now is the middle of autumn and it`s a good time to go searching for seed pods, (planning to travel this weekend,) and then in spring perhaps plant some closer to where I live and share it with select folk who also talk to plants.
I understand Ololiuqui is little experienced in comparison with HBWR and moringglory, and that there is not much first hand information about trips and dosage,
I can contribute this bit of knowledge about a powerful ololiuqui plant in Bolivia and first hand experience with fresh seed.
