I obtained some HBWR seeds and it seems like I must have selected a different strain than I thought. In Kash's thread pertaining to these seeds, they specify that the preferred strain of HBWR is Hawaiian. Well, apparently I chose the Indian strain. Now, the tek states to stay away from the Ghana strain. Does this hold true for these as well? Did I just order a worthless bunch of seeds? It was definitely my mistake--the vendor had fantastic service to be quite honest. I'm just wondering if I should bother with the info. in Kash's workspace thread--wondering if these seeds are worth the trouble. Thanks for any input.

sorry to hear this. i just received my hbwr and they are from hawaii. i'm excited to do a simple extraction. i'm sorry but from what i've read those are not worth it. but i have no first hand. maybe they can be salvaged or simply returned?

i had the same deal! i ordered HBWR and got the indian strain.
BE CAREFUL! the indian strain was the strongest ive ever had. i took 5 seeds and had the craziest experience.
in my experience the indian strain is stronger than the hawaiian strain.
start at 5 seeds for the craziest experience

Okay, thanks for the replies. I asked because after searching I found conflicting info. on the difference in strain--just like in this thread!! From what I have read they seem more variable in alkaloid content than the Hawaiian.
If anyone has extracted from the Indian strain, did you have good results? Should I use about 1.5x the amount that I would with the Hawaiian strain? Thanks again for the input already given, and any more that comes this way.

i havnt extracted from that strain. but for me the effects are mindblowing.. but there was pretty bad cramps

Did you use Kash's Tek or another, remediosvaro? I've been set on an attempt at Kash's. Just curious what you used since it seems to have worked great for you (aside from cramps). Thanks!

Swim has tried 4 strains of HBWR seeds and Hawaiian are definitly the best but Indian are effective as well. i meant to say, i have not extracted from the indian strain, i just ate 5 seeds with some friends. they all felt potent hallucinogen effects.
another friend took 3 seeds and said they had strong effects.
when i took three seeds of the hawaiian strain, i just felt like i couldnt move, no hallucinogenic effects.
