Perhaps I'm just not taking high enough doses of psychedelics, but in every trip I've had since going to hyperspace, all I can think about is DMT/hyperspace. Even on MDMA! its always like, this is cool, but I should just blast off right now...I'm already halfway there. Does this happen to anybody else?

personally I enjoy the differences of the various substances so no, this doesn't happen to me. What does however quite often happen when I take a low/medium dose is that I feel like I am wasting my time and entheogens only going half-way. Granted lately I am enjoying the lower/medium doses more, which I think is a good thing. In order to work with entheogens we don't always have to have break-through experiences. Nope. Like Enoon I enjoy the diversity of a multitude of different substances. But if you have such strong urges for DMT, why not smoke it at the peak of an LSD, shroom or MDMA -trip? My threads: Intro - DMT first time - My mushroomsI'm not all that I can be....

Yeah I guess I just need to stop screwing around and up my dosage, or meditate more or do yoga during low dose trips. Even though I think about hyperspace while tripping, I failed to mention that I am also too nervous/frightened to actually go there again...my last visit left me really shaken, and that was months ago. I have mixed emotions about DMT...

Yeah, as stated above, im ALWATS thinking about, not DMT per say, but the experience itself. Every step I take, every turn I make, it's right there with me all the time. Every face I look at, or situation that arises, I feel it, all the time.

I am thinking about it almost all the time, but when I trip on other substances I almost always end up with a much more vivid picture of hyperspace in my head...

My friends and I had a great time taking DMT on the come down of some shrooms. Maybe it was just because we were having such a fun time on the shrooms that they worked so well together. Their was a synergy between the two and it defiantly brought the visuals and laughter back from earlier even after the DMT wore off.

Every moment of my everyday experience is seen through the lens of a regular hyperspace traveler. Once you've been there its hard to undo that relationship.
Any time you are on a moderate dose of LSD, shrooms or MDMA, if you are having a relaxed and positive experience, you can smoke DMT with a lot of confidence that it will also be positive. Generally it will just take you much deeper into the space you are already in. LSDMT is actually an amazing combination that synergizes extremely well.

To OP.. I am always thinking about DMT on a daily basis and my doses are always the same, 5g dried cubensis on an somewhat empty stomach. And it really depends on what you manifest while on your journey. In one of very profound experiences I manifested this idea on a completely empty stomach which totally explained DMT on one level of consciousness, "The More Complex The Movement Of Patterns, The More Information Is Generated." Once I understood this I broke through into the DMT space where the patterns got extremely complex at a very fast rate as this happened I realized that these patterns were fractals and the information was continuously condensing and expanding. At the same time allowing infinite amount of information to be stored in this space and that was my "Awwha" moment. I stepped further in to my consciousness and these fractals got faster, smaller and bigger until there were too many epiphanies surfacing at once for my brain to apprehend then I was drowning in Cosmic Love back on Earth. Psilocybin and DMT are essentially close relatives in the same chemical makeup so its possible to have a similar experience between the two. "Cosmic Creativity: Art Is An Echo Of The Creative Force That Birthed The Galaxies. Creativity Is The Way That The Cosmos Evolves And Communicates With Itself. The Great Up Lifting Of Humanity Beyond Its Self-Destruction Is The Redemptive Mission Of Art."

I'm always smelling it now, in strange places. I'll have something to eat and even the taste will remind me of DMT After the last couple experiences I've had with shrooms and DMT I always think about DMT while on shrooms now. Same with Salvia.

Wow very cool, I've definitely felt that my mushroom trips were similar to DMT. The most I've taken is 3.5 grams, and I can imagine it only gets more DMT-like as the dosage goes up. I remember hearing Dennis/Terence Mckenna(can't remember which one) basically call mushrooms oral DMT. I agree with everyone else too, things constantly remind of DMT, in everyday sober reality. Smells, patterns, colors... Thanks for the responses people, it's always nice to be reminded that I am not alone in my obsession.

I actually recently tried smoking DMT during an LSD session and the synergy was incredible. Absolutely amazing combination of substances. But yes, I definitely had more courage before dosing the DMT--no pre-flight jitters at all! I'm looking forward to exploring the LSDMT space more thoroughly. And oh yes! I am ALWAYS thinking about it. I can't "unsee" the experiences I've had--some might find it strange, but I find it adds a beautiful dimension to my everyday life. I'm very grateful for it, as I can constantly marvel at the infinite depth and complexity of the present moment regardless of where I am or what I'm doing. It's extremely grounding, and I'd like to think it keeps my ego in check. Everyone I know who's ever tried DMT reports smelling it all over the place at random points in time, including myself (and apparently most other nexians). Is there a known definitive reason for this?...it seems quite common "Consciousness grows in spirals." --George L. Jackson If you can just get your mind together, then come across to me. We'll hold hands and then we'll watch the sunrise from the bottom of the sea... But first, are you experienced?
