Just grabbed this xtal from a small wineglass, skipped freeze precip, still more evaping from the pull. As you can see the salt does indeed incresase yield.

What kind of salt? Salts actually weigh more than the freebase so it may look like more than it really is. Nice looking though.

If I had to guess I'd say ASB is probably referring to the NaCl which is called for prior to basification in several teks. Assuming the material pictured is indeed freebase, I offer my congratulations.

I am also curious as to the raw material used, but would have to assume MHRB. Some other details would surely help paint the picture and be appreciated. I must confess I'm a little hazy about the wineglass methodology...
