......... All I could do was smile wider than I ever have before.. wow ! a level of bliss thats beyond description a breakthrough to an indescribable state of being that is truly some kind of nirvana . I feel very lucky to have the chance to experience something like this. It feels like some kind of end state as in all roads lead to this destination. No loss of body open eye everything seems almost normal closed eye is a deep red orange seemingly infinite transparent space. my mind is expanded to a realm that defys description. It does not feel unatural at all, it seems like our mind is built to achieve this in some way. Entity presence ?, this time i'm not sure, almost feels lke they have left me alone this time to experience this expanded state, I am smiling wider than ever before i am laughing and joyful on an unheard of level at this point. I cant believe how beautiful and amazing this is , how is this possible? what is it? why is it? I wish I could share this state of being with others but I'm beginning to wonder if its at all possible at this point. its taken alot of hard intense trips and alot of trust to forge ahead and continue the work. I can hear it now : " no really it gets better just trust me" " yeah I know it feels like your gonna die just trust me keep doing it ....." In any case its not the first time i have achieved this state in fact I have been in this many time before. This particular one was exceptionally fantastic ! I'm still trying to figure out the secret. Persistence and trust comes to mind. I would say first and foremost is a good uncluttered state of mind . if your already in a good headspace to begin with thats a key ingredient to getting to this nirvana state. not to mention a good spice supply at hand... Well good news for you: You are Alice and you've just discovered the hole to wonderland; but not really gone down there yet I have yet not have a breakthrough so maybe Im not the best person to speak of the definition of it. But from what I've read, breakthroughs on DMT are dissociative (ie loss of connection with the surroundings (realworld)), dereal/surreal and depersonal (often with ego death). From what I've read people describe a state of not knowing who they are, what they are, where they are, when they are or how they got there; not even realizing they have taken a drug. If you could still reach back to the realworld by opening your eyes then you have a lot more to discover. Im just saying On my first DMT trip I think I almost got there because I started sensing a frightening ego-breakdown and had intense open-eye visuals (floor glowing like sunshine and the trees outside my window looking electrical), complex orange/yellow CEV fractal that where mechanical and vibrating in nature. On my second attempt(s) I did not get as far - but did experience a lot of joy, light and bliss much like what you describe (as well as some incredible flower fractals). I also had a lot more philosophical thoughts on my second try/tries. As for what DMT does to the mind-counciousness part of us and what role it plays: there are just as many theories as there are people. I myself have no idea what to make of it. Be well PEACE My threads: Intro - DMT first time - My mushroomsI'm not all that I can be....

I've had many deep loss of body breakthroughs . I've been deep in the rabbit hole many times . What I described above is a different kind of amazing Breakthrough , one where your still connected yet completely Emmerced in another dimension or higher state of existence . It's as real as anything. It's truly amazing . The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible. Arthur C. Glad to see you post a report Felnik!
Could you describe a little more of what the trip was like, in time?

Even though I've been in this many times its still hard to put into words. On a nuts and bolts level I used alot of sublingual caapi extract and caapi Leaf in my trusty vg . Slowly added more spice as things Got going . I know it's happening when flat surfaces like rocks and tree bark etc Begin to morphe and move. Things start to spiral and become alive When this occurs I know if I push further the next level is right there it's a matter of trust and persistence . There's an amazing feeling that begins to take over my body as if I'm locking in With an unseen outside force . It seems to zero in on my mind and body and the connection Begins its a oneness that occurs with this force . I am it and it is me My mind expands and I am in a beautiful colored space , it's usually reds and oranges . It's like The top of my head opens and blossoms with some kind of higher state of being . Sometimes It feels like the presence of beings , sometimes not. It feels like we are wired for this on some level. This is an end state of some kind for me. It has to be because the amount of spice and the vaped doses Are crazy at this point . It only makes the experience better and better . There is no fear only the desire to connect deeper and deeper . The hits that I'm taking at this point would kill a horse . One would expect to be Shot past a point and lose complete touch . This does not occur the oneness with this force only increases To unimaginable levels , hence the gigantic smile on my face. The amount of time Can vary but it's not long in duration , anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes with repeated doses . The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible. Arthur C. Clarke http://vimeo.com/32001208

Felnik, wow...great report....simply great. Something about your report connected VERY well with me. As i was reading your report fragments of the experience were surfacing in my mind. The red and orange im very familiar with. I think color can have alot to do with how the experience unfolds. I haven't smoked for quite some time and reading your report, well, im gonna have to dive back in sooner or later. Clear mind-Trust-Surrender tat tvam asi tat

Had an experience recently that I think was similar. All I know is as I read this my eyes welted up and a massive grin sneaked on my face hahaha.. I was still in my chair yet gazing right into the deepest most complex universes and expansions beyond my imagination. It also very much felt like I was being left to simply experience this. I am getting the impression I was being shown how to overcome awe by being bathed in it, I was sure trying my hardest but kept failing (oh so beautifully so). Right towards the end I got this vibe of something almost introducing itself but then being like 'next time, or time after that, or sometime, when its your time'.. I love how visiting this site and reading other peoples experiences assist in spurring the recall of ones own. It really is like remembering dreams and with my current (soon to be much more controlled) marijuana crutch I don't think I do myself any favours. Mad respect due

I have had extremely deep ones where I have lost any sense of who I am.. but most of my breakthroughs even with the same dose there is still some sense of "I" that is recieving a teaching - still completely and utterly mindblowing and out of body. there is no real definition for breakthrough I guess other than it being an out of body experience..

Many of my experiences are OBEs and very blissful, obviously indescribable.
I only went for a full on breakthrough once and it is was quite a launch. I mean, it really had no characteristics of DMT at that point. I found it to be thousands if not millions of time more exponential than I ever believed a breakthrough could even possibly be. It literally became everything and I was blasting through space at the speed of light, screaming my head off until the carrier wave came in like some huge magnetic force field that crushed my physical body with concentrated ease into molecules and then turned off my consciousness. Then it all went black and eventually I woke up in another world, there were people there and I could not even remember how I had gotten there or who I was.
It was awesome and a great learning experience, but I will not lie, it was absolutely terrifying because it became more real than any reality that I could have ever imagined. It did not even look or feel like any of my other DMT trips. I love DMT and I smoke it a few times a month still, but it will take a long time and a lot of courage to ever launch back into that sort of experience again.
I really do like the low level dances in hyperspace and find them to be very beneficial and a bit less complex to integrate because it is familiar terrain although always different. It is always fascinating contemplating what others have actually seen and felt.

I too have been launched into oblivion on a few occasions its absolutely terrifying in the moment. Personally I prefer the gradual technique . You can still go very deep this way especially combined with caapi leaf, tea and tinctures. Felnik Such a beautiful and profound journey, I have also experienced a similar journey a couple of times with entheogens. Its almost like you become immersed within the entire universe, while experiencing and breathing with every living sentient being in existence. During one of my journeys I was outside in the evening looking up at the stars and I began to take small foot steps toward this magnificent old tree, the ground began to radiate this azure blue florescent light which would pulse from each foot step that I took. I could see all the veins in my body which where all connected to my heart glowing and flowing through the grass and the earth towards the energy epicenter within the tree. I was blissfully connected with every living thing on earth and I could feel the tree breath in unison to the same rhythm of my breathe and my heart beat. It was truly one of the most profound entheogen journeys I have experienced as the joy coursing through me was ecstatic and pure. I am honoured that you chose to share your incredible journey with us, its really greatly appreciated. Much Peace and Compassion

I've had big doses where I became an "it" - no body, no ego, no gender, outside of space-time. Less than "silly big" doses leave you aware of self, where you are and what you are doing. I've had medium doses where I can close my eyes and go there, and open them and come back. I've had low doses that just activate your meridians, and fill you with joyous energy but no overtly unreal/surreal/dereal sensory experiences. I'm also discovering there are technologies to get there without ingesting spice, ones that seem to rely on endogenous spice... I'd add that a lot of what happens seems to depend on the mind that's using the spice, There are probably limits to what our minds can cope with being revealed to it.... Spice is rocket fuel, the mind is the rocket... - Can you steer your rocket....???

I've had some pretty profound non breakthrough experiences as well. They really are their own breed IMO. You can interact with it in a different way compared to breakthrough levels due to the body awareness. Your experiencing it as an awake human, this can feel so good sometimes. Truly amazing. Felnik wrote:"I would say first and foremost is a good uncluttered state of mind . if your already in a good headspace to begin with thats a key ingredient to getting to this nirvana state. not to mention a good spice supply at hand..." I agree. I have found that the deepest most personal experiences were when I was able to zone out my mode of thinking and clear my racing thoughts, focusing at the actions at hand, loading dosing getting comfortable. Smoother entry and no stray thoughts to contaminate the beginning of the experience.
