Hi!

Instead of pulling the basified MHRB mix (from i.e. cyb's tek) with naphta or another solvent instantly, could one let the mix dry instead and extract the DMT from the resulting powder with butane, with a setup, like one would use to extract BHO from kief?

Maybe this question is stupid for a person with at least some chemistry knowledge. But mine is next to zero, sorry. Love

But if it could work, I'd like to try it. My hope would be, that only one pull would be necessary to extract most of the goodies and the freezer would be out of the game.

If this couldn't work, please tell me why.

All the best,

Steppa

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hi Steppa,

There are a few posts about extraction attempts using butane, you can find them with the Search function... but no success that I know of. DMT is not very soluble in short hydrocarbons like propane or butane, and this may be why.

In any case, a freezer is not strictly necessary. You can evaporate your solvent and wash the results if you have concerns about contamination.
