While I know how to extract DMT already, I often still reference teks that have been posted on the internet to compare technique, yields, variations in different acids/solvents etc.
To my dismay I've found that alot of them, while accurate in direction, are poorly written. The first time I attempted extracting DMT i followed a loosely worded tek and was successful. However the next few times I did the same procedures, I often yielded different results as far as color, texture, consistency, amounts. It took me a long time and a lot of research (and a lot of attempts) to figure out why certain things were happening.
So I wrote a tek of my own, aimed toward either a beginner or a person who is having some difficulty explaining certain things. The topics the tek covers include:
- Why acids and bases?
- What each reaction does, why it is necessary, and what to look for as it is happening;
- Explains what each chemical's purpose is;
- How to fix "ear wax" or "peanut butter", gooey brown DMT;
- How to avoid emulsion
- Also includes 2 different methods of collection, evaporation or precipitation, and what each method has to offer.
I hope many of you find this tek useful, and please recommend it to anyone it may help!
