Well I'm a person who suffered from depression due to a rough childhood. I tried counseling and antidepressants, but never really discovered what I needed to experience peace in myself until a mushroom experience I had several years ago. I had no knowledge of psychedelics until one night I was offered 'shrooms by a friend. I took 6 grams that night not knowing what I was in for. I have thought about that first mushroom experience every single day since it happened.

Since then I have had a few more trips from mushrooms, LSA, and ayahuasca. I am open to trying smoked DMT, MDMA and of course LSD if any of them fall in my lap.

All in all I haven't found a more powerful tool for self-healing and understanding the transcendent, beautiful, and divine than psychedelics. I am so glad I found them, and think it's really sad that there are many people who struggle through life never discovering this crucial and important experience that should be humanity's birthright.

Hello azure,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you for sharing that Introduction with us. And I'm glad you enjoyed reading the Forums and had the urge to post and signed up. It's always great to have a new member join our community, Smile.

It sounds like your life has been quite the journey to date, with more than a bit of rough rides early on. And also, like some here, that you have taken some of your healing into your own hands with entheogens.

I would encourage you to take a thorough look around - there's a lot happening here to interest folks of almost any interest. Also, the links in your Welcome PM gold. The wiki has all the plant extraction teks and who knows what that could lead to.

Finally, anything else you'd care to share about yourself, such as hobbies, or life path or anything might help us to get to know you a bit better.

Please don't hesitate to dive right in and start posting/participating. Again, welcome to the Nexus.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
