New poster. Long time lurker. I first joined back in late 2011 when I did my first extraction to ask a few questions about STB, but I usually just asked them on the chat and never posted as I didn't have much to contribute to the community and most of what I wanted to know about a basic MHRB-STB tek has been talked about 10000x.

About a year and a half ago I moved countries from the far west to the far south east and have not experimented with any spice in quite awhile. Being sort of down lately about some life circumstanced my interest in DMT was reignited to try and have it help bring me out of my slump by further exploring my mind and subconscious.

I found my self back at the site recently while looking up plants native to my new region that contained DMT. I have been active on the chat for some days now and talked with a few people who have had interesting conversation to share as well as experiences on new things I have not experienced, I enjoy learning ways to continue to expand my mind and understanding of things around me. So far my experience on the nexus has been nothing but pleasant with interesting people to talk to and learn from. Not to mention some of you have recommended some nice music to listen to while I've been chatting.

In the past I ordered 1lb or mhrb and managed to do about 4 extractions or so. Maybe more. I doesn't remember all the details now In that time I extracted enough to last my self basically.. for ever. But when I moved I gave away most of my spice. Hints the reason for searching for new plants / trees native to my new geolocation.

I have some xtal pr0n from one of my first few extractions.. I thought I did well for a first time. This was using a basic STB with 100g mhrb and using a 1:1 ratio of lye + mhrb. I forget the amount of water + naptha now that I used.. and the exact tek. I found one that seemed to suit my needs and got it the first time and just memorized it from then on.

Looking forward to putting in some research into plants native to the country / region (thailand / SE Asia) i'm in. Some plants are common in neighboring countries and used for traditional medicine. As well as learning about different solvents and alternatives to the popular ones, such as naphtha which isn't easily available here in hardware stores like in the west. I've read about people using Ronsonol lighter fluid here but it leaving impurities. So im looking forward to trying to find a way to produce around the same quality stuff I did before back home and sharing my findings.

Also There is a nice thread going on currently about finding sources in thailand which seems to be promising and cant wait to hopefully contribute and learn with those members.

Welcome to the Nexus. Great to see that you have decided to become an active member.

Rules have been evolving here and if you haven't had a chance to recently check the Attitude link, you might want to do so. Same for the wiki, especially the teks. Chat rules are pretty tight these days too.

Rules are there to be followed. I read them before but forgot where I was chatting for a moment. I'm usually on a few IRC servers as well which are basically lawless and just forgot about the rules on this chat for a moment. :/

I have a weird jeweler's scale that I got for $50.

Nice looking spice , I also have that scale , she serves me well.

Actually I dont have this scale anymore. I left it behind when I moved, I hear I can buy a jewelers scale around the city in some places. Anything really different about it? I'm guessing it wont come with the fancy thing the spice is sitting in on top of the scale is all maybe?
