I highly recommend the Mindfold to all of you nexians! If you haven't heard of it before, it is a blindfold type of mask that has a foam body and cutouts for the eyes. They are remarkably more comfortable than conventional blindfolds and absolutely NO LIGHT seeps through. They work best in conjunction with earplugs. You can get them off Amazon.com for about 20 bucks, which is a little steep if you ask me, but considering the possibilities it opens, a worthy investment. It is great for meditating with, listening to music, relaxing on a hammock in a cool summer breeze with, and... other things. Particularly DMT! It makes the experience noticeably more immersive. What I usually do is meditate for about 20 minutes before my session with the mask, pipe already pre loaded and ready to go. Then, I pull the mask onto my forehead so that it is still fitted around my head. After I take my final inhalation, I pull the mask back over my eyes, and let it do its job Once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I might in fact get one of these - thanks for letting me know. I think blindfolds are little annoying, mainly because they don't cut out enough light. I am a piece of knowledge-retaining computer code imitating an imaginary organic being.

I have one. I wouldn't say that it screens 100% of the light as things clearly look brighter in a well-lit room than a dark one, and I also have to say that I find mine to be rather uncomfortable. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

Global, I find your comments interesting. I have tried it in a dark room as well as a light room, and have found no difference. Also, I genuinely cannot see how the mask could be perceived as uncomfortable. Are you sure that the mask is fully adjusted and seated on your face correctly? I did notice that light would seep through the foam in mine if the mask wasn't attached properly. Once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I use a mindfold every night for sleeping (for 2+years) and I see no difference whatsoever if it's light or dark in the room, the mindfold is pitch black. I also use it every time I trip at home and find it very comfortable. The ability to have open eyes inside is very nice. One thing to keep in mind is not to rest the headband on top of your ears as it can start chafing a bit, at least for me.
