Hi Folks,

This is a public apology for the (what was basically an) anti-Art suggestion as part of all the April Fool's fun.

Given the truth of what we've come to know about Art, this place would not be the same without him. He has become much more refined as of late and I could only hope to do likewise, given enough time myself.

He is frequently very welcoming and helpful to new members, giving good encouragement and very helpful suggestions, as well as fast-tracking promotions, when appropriate. Yet, he has a very sensitive BS meter and doesn't hesitate to post what's on his mind when it is firmly twitching in the red.

I have been here under four years and in that time I have seen this place grow over 10x (from under 2,500 to over 23,000 members). Given the ongoing huge influx of all kinds of new members, I perceive Moderator van D'Lay to be an invaluable asset and I would not change a thing.

I hope I didn't ruffle too many feathers in the days leading up to the big prankeroony. I was of course, in character. All was done in the name of fun and good old fashioned tomfoolery.

Rest assured that I have nothing but the highest esteem for UberModerator A1pha, despite his bottomless lust for power and dissociative induced psychosis.

I do get the message that not all appreciate my heavy handed approach - and while I can't really promise that I'm going to change my evil ways entirely, I'm not above taking something from this. Old dog, new tricks kinda thing.

But let's not forget, Art is the only one above the nexus rules.

You the man, Art! Every time I see that you were the last person to post in a thread, I instantly have to click to see what insightful, intelligent, sarcastic, word-art you've added to a conversation.

"LOL" is thrown around pretty frequently, but you sir, make the term a reality. Off the top of my head I can think of at least a handful of your posts that nearly gave me abdominal cramps from laughter. The following two are pure gold:
