Being that there is argument about the actual active compounds in the seeds, couldn't your fungus extract be something that is quite chemically different from MG or HBWR seeds?

see the pic in my avatar?
that's a mass analyzer to a machine I worked with (ion-trap mass spectrometer). I know what chemicals the fungus produced, I analyzed them.

I didn't realize that there was any question as to what the active compound was... I'm fairly certain that LSA is the desired outcome of any LSA extraction. And if a man with that much technology in his avatar picture says that's what he ended up with, dammit, I believe him.

Reporting back from earlier, I was unsuccessful in my second attempt at Kash's tek. I have one more bag of 100 HBWR, I'm going to try one more time, this time not following Kash's instructions, only using anh. acetone and naphtha.

If I don't end up with something decent after that, then I am just one very dumb son of a bitch.

Also, I agree, the dosage scale on Kash's tek does seem pretty off.
How's it going to end?

There are many types of ergoline compounds found in either seeds or fungus. LSA is really a blanket term for these.

Kash's dose may be high, but this is likely from many factors. Yes, no extraction is 100%, and this one may only be 50% (just a wild guess), but there's no real easy way to tell, unless you analyze your seed sample to see how much they contain. There are many other actives in HBWR seeds, besides just the LSA, which may synergize with or even wash out the effects of the LSA, thus meaning less seeds are needed when whole, compared to Kash's tek. LSA is not nearly as potent by mass as LSD, so his dose may well be reasonable.

I personally do not like HBWR seeds alone, because of all of the other junk in them which make me nervous and pukey.Sick

hehe, I guess they do look like old-school apothecary flasks.
yea, I have two because i'm an industry (bio)chemist, and work in quality control.
I do analytical work, with an array of specs.
