Hi all,

I'm a little intimidated by the thought of writing an essay just to introduce myself, and I hardly deserve the effort, but I will write a few words about what led me here.

I first began smoking DMT in 2010 when my best friend introduced me to the experience. She coached me through my first trip to beyond and taught me how to fly, so to speak. With her as a mentor I learned to appreciate the spice properly from the very start. What I never learned, unfortunately, was extraction. I believe she never taught me out of respect for the process, knowing that if I meant to I would find my way to the source on my own.

DMT seems to have been my destiny. So it felt leading up to my first encounter. And here I am, at the source of things, a year and a half later. I have yet to make my first extraction, but I am not in any kind of rush. I'm still reading and learning. When the time comes I will gather the necessary resources. It's debatable whether or not my current living situation is appropriate.

Well, I was going to do a more personal introduction, but I'm not sure what kind of anonymity you all feel comfortable with around here. I'll leave it at that for now. I look forward to being a small part of this community and hopefully achieve excellence in all things extraction.

Peace.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Looks like your friend was a very good mentor indeed.

Welcome to the nexus Amy S and I hope you will find all the answers you need.

It is a very good approach to read and learn before you start your first extraction. We are here to help you if you need any advise.

Please read the "Attitude" section - the rules of this forum and "Health & Safety" section

In "Wiki" and "FAQ" section you will find most of your answers.

Enjoy Smile

Welcome to the Nexus Amy S! Smile

Have you dabbled with any of the other entheogens?

Thanks, hostilis (and smokerx). Glad to be here.

To answer your question, only in limited scope and variety. After I was introduced to DMT I was naturally curious about other psychedelics. I was shown a few. Psilocybin, mescaline, LSD, were probably the main ones. There were some others but I don't really remember. DMT was the only one that really held my interest. Tripping for long periods of time has never appealed to me that much. I certainly have never dabbled with harder stuff, like H, crack, meth, and never intend to. So you wouldn't be wrong in saying I'm fairly inexperienced, generally speaking, though I am reasonably experienced with DMT. Of course, most of the people here have likely been friends with DMT for over ten or twenty years, I'm sure, so compared to that I'm a real newb. Smile

Nice Smile.

There is nothing wrong with just starting out. Every one of us has been there.

Well I hope you find this place to be inviting and informative. You can get pretty much any information that you would need dealing with DMT.

Are you planning on doing extractions?

I share the feeling. Writing an Introduction Essay seems very daunting to me. I want to write my story, but knowing myself, I would invest many hours on that task and I don't feel I have the time without neglecting other responsibilities.

I am planning on doing extractions. Boning up. Getting the plants is going to take some time.

It doesn't have to be really elaborate. Just let us know what brought you here, your experience with entheogens, and a little about yourself. Just a paragraph or two.

That's what it takes to get full membership. Plus participating in the forums.
