Dear DMT-Nexus Forum Members.

I would like to make a quick introduction about myself to the forum.
I'm a 187cm, 85kilo, Caucasian young-male, diagnosed with ADD/Austism/PDD-Nos on a young age (11/12yo)
The tests back in the day werent that good, so im thinking it over to get one done at the age of 21 (now).
Also eczema and asthma were diagnosed.
The eczema plays up about once a month, I get aching crusts on my cheeks / neck , and when I shave, or cut them open, moist comes out, Nothing more.
This directly comes from stress, and smoking weed.

My mother gave birth to me on a very young age ( 18 ), and in the first years of my life she was in divorce with my dad (from about my 3rd to my 6th year, exactly the moment where you become 'conscious' of your surrounding).
It was not very pretty.

Took the ritalin / concerta / strattera drugs for a while when I was living at home, just for my parents, not for myself (you might relate this to other stories about other ritalin-takers).

Recently, after watching the Graham Hancock video on TEDTalks website (before it got banned, its on youtube now) I got interested in these deeper-consciousness drugs .
Graham Hancock - The War on Consciousness BANNED TED TALK
I really want to get to know myself more, and experience my ADD / ADHD / Autism in a different view, so I can understand how I react to other people, and change that .

Im a quite social/out-going guy, im also a wellknown DJ, and ive played places all over the world .
Took drugs, drank alcohol, and fucked fans (condoms only). Each and every weekend of the past 2 years.

Now I really want to get to my senses, and work on myself.
Concentrate myself more on the production of music , which I have been slacking in the past few years (because of ADD/ADHD/weed smoking I think)

The stories i've heard from mates (who are close to me), and on the internet this drug might help to get to know myself.
I also was planning to take an LSD-stamp anytime this year with my uncle (who did it for about 8 years back in the day) to experience the effect.
Is it wise to try acid first, or should I just go for any form of DMT.

I'm really looking forward to the advice given on this specialized forum.

While im browsing the other topics, I hope to get a response on my topic.

Kind Regards,
ADDistortion

Welcome to this amazing community!Very happy

I think your interest in entheogens is going in a good direction. Different perspectives always results in learning. I dont think that you would need to do lsd before dmt, as long as your intention is on truth. That being said, its definatly not a bad idea, as dmt is quite an experience, and putting a foot through the door with lsd may help to aquaint you, even if they are completely different. (Also, alot of different chemicals can go on a "lsd hit", so street acid is a bit unpredictable imo.

As for the add, i to was diagnosed with add at a young age and was given strattera/vyvanse/ ritalin patches. I also feel your problem with the weed. I was their and almost my whole life was devoted to getting the best bud and pretty much staying high. However, i noticed that however often i wanted to have a smoke sesh, then made the choice to not smoke during the aforementioned sesh, (pretty much exercise my freewill) that it really helped me to realize and become aware of other situations where i may be tempted with instant gratification, yet choose to not succomb. I would not trade my experience with weed for anything, it has taught me firsthand alot about desire. Im not saying weed is bad, just excess of anything could and generally is hurtful in the longrun, as the more one desires to smoke weed and does smoke weed, the more one is a slave to his desires.

Once again welcome!
Hoped this helped and im looking forward to your reply

Edit: theres an amazing book on dmt that an american researcher wrote. He did many experiments and concluded many interesting and meaningful things. One of which was dmt is released in your brain around the 7th week (i think) of fertilization (the same time the tibetan book of the dead (very old buddhist book) says the soul enters your body). Also when you dream, and when you die! He proved that your heart does not even need to be pumping, yet dmt can still enter your spinal cord and does. The book is called "dmt the spirit molecule" by rick strassman. Its on ibooks. This book is verrrry informational

i was diagnosed with ADD a couple times..

it never seemed to effect me (i am just glad my parents thought it was B.S. too, or i would have been medicated since grade 3).

i have no problems with hallucinogens of any kind.

also i recommend psilocybin, but LSD/DMT is fine too.

Welcome!
I've found this is a pretty neat little community in my short time here. I am diagnosed with ADD too, and just recently took myself off Vyvanse due to the way it was making me feel. I drink 1 cup of coffee and some Yerba mate and so far I've been feeling more like myself again instead of the machine amphetamines were turning me into. I too think entheogens help with conditions like this--almost like rewiring your mind every now and again. I've been researching the molecule for about 10 months now and still haven't taken the leap from sub threshold to breakthrough dosage yet, but honestly just knowing that there are like-minded people out there who are going through or have gone through some of the things I am right now is amazing medicine. I've learned so much more than just dmt knowledge and I hope you have the same experience here.
Cheers!

Hiya guys !

Thanks for your reply's on my welcome post, appreciate it .

to MagicGing I want to say:
Thanks for your tip on the "DMT the Spiritual Molecule" book, I've ordered it right away from Ebay, and downloaded the documentary about it on the web.
After seeing this documentary, this stuff is even more attractive to use to gain consciousness about my diagnostics .

Aswell for my dieting I really wanted to try glutenfree and dairy-free diet, for my skin and blood.
I hardly drink any sugar or caffeine based drinks, so that is already a big advantage.

My second question about DMT is: Is it highly addictive ? or semi-addictive?
as ArizonaBay described it as :
Quote:
-almost like rewiring your mind every now and again.

So you do this stuff once in a while, to rewire, and think about events ?

Kind regards,
-ADDistortion

The video is not nearly as awesome as the book. Just saying.

In the book, one experiment strassman does is an iv dmt test to see if any tolerance could build up. He found 0 tolerance with many people, and shot them up many times in one day. Back in highschool (not the best reference), we were talki g about drugs and addictions. In the health book, an physical addiction requires both tolerance to the substance, and withdrawal. So no physical dependance from dmt. However, i beleive anything and everything (including life) can be mentally addictive, or habituating. I would say if you respect dmt (or any entheogen, for that matter) and dont abuse it, it would be a tool towards personal development, among other things. Its probably less likely to be mentally habituated with dmt, but just my thought. After all, every thing changes except for change. If you respect it, it will respect you (but no guarantees haha)
It could be very spiritual/enlightening, depending on your will only. I see it as a tool to be aware of awareness, or the infinite. But it all depends on the person ingesting it

physically it is non-addictive.

it is not entirely uncommon (though it kinda is on this forum) for people to only use DMT only once in their life.

i have never heard of anyone being addicted to DMT.

Sorry to bust your bubble here, but as far as I remember and know this is just conjecture. He suggested the possibility of these things, but did not prove them. There is currently no scientific evidence to back this up, if I am not mistaken. Even Rick Strassman himself was saddened and disturbed by the fact that so many people mistook his ideas and suggestions for fact. I guess that's what happens when you write a book as an M.D. or Doctor... Razz

As for the OP, there's no "best way" to start using psychedelics. Just make sure you know what you're taking (i.e. test the substances you have with reagents to make sure it's really what you think it is / extract yourself) and be mindful about it.

DMT is not addictive. Not even semi-addictive as far as I know, though the search for answers might be.

Psychedelics can be used in spiritual manners, for doing psychological work (like rewiring or getting a better look at internal issues in order to work through them), for exploring your own mind and finding out what the limits of your own consciousness are, or for having a good time. Lots of people frown on the latter option, so I like to call it "sustaining mental health" or something like that. I truly believe that taking psychedelics once in a while help de-clutter our minds and release accumulated negativity before it turns into an issue...

good luck on your journey!

Nah i think you are right, i was verrry stoned when i read that book. I think it was more of a hypothesis, if i remember correctly now, yet he still supported it with logical evidence, but i guess no proof-proof. Then again it may just be wishful thinking; i need to read the book again
