I'll begin by saying, I have dabbled in dream enhancement. I think dreaming can be a powerful tool into the mind, or other realms. Often, however, I don't have a good schedule or the ability to focus on my dreaming. I have done some small things to enhance my dreams, but I've always been a natural lucid dreamer.
So, I've had some pretty intense dreams in my life, often quite intense after some psychedelic use. The dream I had a few weeks ago takes the cake.
It began with my mind waking, but I was still asleep physically. I saw a purple vortex-like ring, and I could control where I looked into it. It seemed to keep trying to slip out of view, but with my mental ability I brought it back into center. It was pulsating, with radial geometry, flowing. I remember my thoughts quite clearly, mostly they were along the lines of "holy shit!" and "did I do DMT?"
So after a time, this vortex took me in, or I fell in, or what have you. I immediately began ascending. I don't know how, but I knew I was going up. Up, and up and up. The walls of the space I was in were a similar purple to the initial vortex. They were made of many planes, each being broken up into sharp angular fractals, all overlapping each other. As I was traveling up, my only thoughts were, "this is unbelievable. I have to maintain this dream."
From the beginning of the dream I heard a song by Shpongle. It was "Once upon a sea of blissful awareness" and it was crystal clear. I remember analyzing it, and thinking how wonderful it sounded.
After a spell of ascending, I broke out of the top of wherever I was, into this stunning panoramic view. It looked like somewhere on Earth. Across from where I was there lied a valley, with a mountain on either side. I believe it was early morning, and the sun was shining straight into my face. The most unbelievable part of this was the face. Inset into the scenery was a face, it's features were made of the landscape, yet it was apart from the landscape and took up much of the view. It was looking up into space, so I had a profile view. Out of the corner of its eye, water flowed, which made a river that flowed into the valley.
This face I saw was the closest being I have ever seen that could have been God. It was at least of a divine origin.
This dream was by far the most lucid I've ever had. I was fully awake in my head, while still asleep. I was more sober in this dream than I am in my day-to-day life. It was an unbelievable experience that honestly rivals most any DMT trip I've been on. It's definitely made a mark on me.
