As many of you can see I have been a member on the Nexus for many years and I am still a newbie. I have learned SO very much from it and it has opened my eyes in ways I could only have dreamed of before. I have never tried to post because I really did not feel I had much to contribute to since I was so still learning so much. What I have learned I have shared with many close friends who have all been amazed but the eye opening experiences we can all find in our daily lives.

However, now I am on a new journey soon and I would love to have some input from other members who have come before me. My wife and I are planning a trip to South America in about 6 months and I would like to get some feedback and experiences from anyone willing to offer any advise. I would also hope to start some new discussion on our experiences and share them all with everyone as well.

Well, Welcome to the forums.

Glad to see you are posting now and that you gained a lot from this place. It is full of dedicated knowledgeable members. I love it here!

I could not have said it better myself.

It is wonderful that there is places like this available for like minded people to come together and share their experiences.

Most often times I think that technology is becoming a huge problem for people these days. It babysits their children more than ever, it distracts us from the outside world, but worst of all I find that people interact with their i devices more than their loved ones. All that is true but it can also bring so many people together from so many parts of the world to share thoughts and experiences like never before in history. A place like this just proves it to me more and more every time I log on.

I look forward to being able to post in the regular forums and have been waiting but alas it seems I will be still waiting a little longer.

I will still update on the newbie areas and try to gather as much information as I can from just reading in the member areas. There is enough information to keep me reading a long long time....

I hope to also learn a lot, but in the future, I hope I will be able to teach and help others as well.

Very well said. Its great to be able to share our experiences with others on a forum such as this. It would take me days to write about how much I have learned and grown just due to this forum and it's members. I also hope to pass along valuable information to help other members grow as well.
