Without advocating use. Whats your opinion on the best situation to first experience enlightenment? Variable such as mental maturity, less intense entheogen use(past and present), prescription drug interaction(should one detox before use?), environment, and anything else that you can think of. Also what is the ideal situation is for a new experience?

I'm not sure I understand the question - for experiencing enlightenment? I'm not sure there is an ideal situation for this. As far as I know it jut happens. In case you are referring to using DMT or entheogens I think you should be aware of the fact that entheogens are not equal enlightenment. In the case that you are asking for advice on what would be the best situation for a DMT experience I can give you a few pointers: 1) SETTING: somewhere quite, safe, unlikely that you'll be bothered by anyone or thing. Comfortable, warm (like your bed or sofa). 2) SET: Healthy, physically and mentally. No work or pending things you have to do that day. Ideally some mental preparation prior, like writing or contemplating about why you are interested in the experience. Some people like to fast before an experience, though it depends a bit on what entheogen you are planning to take. 3) Prior Use Of Entheogens: Is probably more of a factor for your preparation than for the experience. Everyone's got to start somewhere, and whether it's with DMT or something else IMO doesn'T matter. The opinions on the forum vary however. 4) Dose: First time take a low dose to observe your body's reaction. Do your research and take a responsible dose according to your body-weight and experience. Don't aim too high on your first tries. 5) Drug Interactions: If you are planning to take MAOI / RIMA there are some drugs you should not be taking at the same time. In this case wait till the other drugs are out of your system. There is a good list here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...spx?g=posts&t=37251
6) SITTER: You might want to have one. If you know someone you can trust that can be around or 'on call' it might be a good idea. I am a hypocrite in telling you one should be at least 25. I did it much earlier. But I don't think I really understood all of it, it was just a laughing dream with friends there. Although I feel enlightened from this experience I am not "enlightened". I simply perceived the profound. Without a full and healthy schema or psyche to interpret and change your life for the positive, tripping is really just recreation. How can you, for example, pick an apple from a seedling? One must first experience life first under normal consciousness to the fullest, in order to reap the fruit of your labor, the awe of your existence. IMO if you are mature and intelligent, correct set and setting, there can be exceptions, but as a general recommendation I say at least 25.

Eligtenment cannot be rushed, nor planned for. To really experiance enlightenment one must let himself to go and give to the experiance while also not expecting to find results. If you go in expecting some divine enlightenment you will be sorely disapointed. Just make sure you put yourself in a good mood and in a good setting and let the experiance take you where it will.

Get your physical and emotional survival priorities inline before getting high. This makes you able to acquiesce to the experience and to also bring something back to a stable life. Being a bit hypocritical here as DMT came to me in the LOWEST point of my life. No stability, massive addictions, no future. This was a baptism by fire and is not recommended. It saved me after a LONG period of integration, but now my trips do mean more as I have a material life to base them off of. You don't have to have your life all figured out just a healthy starting point to leap off from and return to. "To fly higher plant both feet firmly on the ground." (Antero Alli) In the province of the mind what one believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits. These limits are to be found experimentally and experientially. When so found these limits turn out to be further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits. However, in the province of the body there are definite limits not to be transcended.-J.C. Lilly The Spice must flow Zat was Zen and dis is Dao.

(Antero Alli) Thank you all for the responses. Yes i am referring to dmt and ill provide some background to my questions. I recently kicked my addictions, I believe was due to taking doses of lsa and lsh. They helped me come to a realization of what damage I caused with stimulants and various analogs. I have been taking amphetamines since i was 7. I started abusing them when I was 14 and had done enough damage to require an ablation when i was 15. Being 21 my pulse is 100-110 resting along with being arrhythmic. I feel it also effected my brain in the fact that I have difficulty connecting thoughts. The way lsa effected me was life changing. It caused a type of concentration different than stimulants. I was able to focus cleanly and fluidly. Thoughts connected in a much easier way and my motivation to get out and be outwardly productive pretty much came to exist. I was very much self-centered, burnt out and closed in. I just sat around smoking and playing video games, never cared about the environment and helping others. After a month I ran out of hbwr and a month after than i fell back into this cycle. Im hoping to find an ethogen that will leave my eyes open after use so i dont have to continue dosing. I thought dmt might be that substance due to hype but i feel i am mistaken. Perhaps use of nerotropics and antioxidants to repair memory and past damage? I feel i may be on the wrong forum so if anyone has any sugguestions for help it would be appreciated.

I`d recommend laying off any further drugs, to be perfectly honest. I would recommend switching to a diet of largely fruit and vegetables, if you don't already. Then work on exercise. Personally, this helps heaps with mental clarity and allowing me to have a clear and concise thought process. After this, start reading books, absorbing knowledge, and pursing hobbies and interests that excite you. That's my 5 cents of advice.

I would like to add that, in my opinion, using drugs to find peace, love, clarity, balance, or happiness is a bad idea and a losing battle. In my experience, drugs have never given me anything I did not already have inside myself, but rather they illuminate what is already there. edit: This is not to say that I don't use my fair share of drugs, I just think its important to keep their role and meaning in perspective. How's it going to end?

That's funny: it was DMT that got me off other drugs (alcohol and weed) and improved my diet to one of fruits and veggies, AND got me into yoga and fitness more (though I've always been fit, you can always be better). Granted, DMT was simply the catalyst for change, as I've always been on this path to one degree or another, always reading and researching and practicing higher states of awareness, but DMT helped keep me on the Path. Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future. ---David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas
