My only experience with Phalaris was P.Aquaticus, which grew readily and with little maintenance in a 4 foot wading pool filled with dirt on the roof of our loft building. Phalaris is very hardy. If you look online hard enough you may find anecdotes about optimizing their alkaloid content- to date this is still a new science.

The batch we grew produced 5- methoxy DMT, which is great stuff but produces no visuals. If I'd known that ahead of time we probably would have tried a different strain. The aya I made from it was extremely potent, very challenging, had to chant the whole time to keep myself from exploding. Turned on the lights right after the peak... and not even a shimmer in terms of OEVs. No CEVs at all except for an "oxygen gauge" I threw together while I was chanting and trying to find the comfort zone of exactly the right amount of oxygen deprivation (like I said, it was a crazy trip). Definitely a steep uphill climb.

What I liked the Aquaticus for the most was simply rolling joints of it... Useless while straight, but on 300ug or more of LSD, a toke of this stuff gave you a blink of deep hyperspace, along with a sense of atemporal connectivity to all other DMT users, past present and future.

Anyway: Phalaris is great stuff, easy to grow, totally legal... And kind of unpredictable.

Thanks for sharing your experience.. A couple of notes.. As for optimizing the alkaloid content, its not just anecdotes, you can read the publication I posted above in post #12, there has been significant scientific research on this.

By the way, how do you know the batch you grew had mostly 5-MeO-DMT? Also, when making aya, did you do anything to make sure you removed potential toxic alkaloids?

Hey guys just a bump and a question, which will hopefully answere the same question for other people.
I have found a vendor that sells phalaris seeds quite cheap and says it has a high alkaloid content and compares it to the AQ1 strain, now is there any reason to believe these claims? Or could these seeds grow out to be any different genome some of which would be high and some low producers? Is buying from seed a bad idea? And the finding a source of clones is ideal?

that sounds great, that is exactly the strain this source has! any sources to back up the claim of alkaloid content? im going to research myself but if a quick link was provided i would jump on the read.

thanks for the quick reply!

How far do you think a 3 gram pack of seeds get me?

researching a lot but am very busy lately Sad

im reallly interested in all this phalaris work now becuase MHRB seems to be impossible to get from any legit suppliers, everything available seems extremely sketchy or very bulk.
