Hi everyone my name is Larry. I have heard many great things about DMT. I know nothing about using it or extracting it.I actively seek spiritualality and often feel stuck. A guy I knew a while back said he used it and it changed his thinking for the better . A little about me, I'm in recovery from alcoholism. So I'm very skeptical about trying this. I'm not seeking a high or to get wasted but a spiritual awakening. Anyway I plan to read and do my homework before I attempt this. Any helpful advice would be really nice.Big grin Big grin

Welcome to the Nexus larry1228.

I can tell you as a recovering opiate addict that it has helped me work through some of the problems i've faced emotionally, but it will not give you a for sure spiritual awakening. But it may happen.

Do some research into extracting and see what is available to you and give it a whirl. That's the advice i'd give you.

You stated your a recovering opiate addict , a friend of mine has bein using dope for a few years now but she is young and frequently states how she wants to quit . Did you have any experience with LSD or DMT that changed your attitude towards it ? I've read that LSD has helped with recovery and was wondering if you think DMT would do the same as that's all I have at hand , As I'm sure your aware its not easy to procure good acid nowadays

Actually, I had a strong experience on amazonian cubensis at the time and it resulted in ego-loss. It was extremely traumatic cause I saw what I was doing and it was not good. I was depressed for a while afterwards. I could not continue to do what I was doing after that. Although I did continue for a while afterwards. It stuck in the back of my mind and I turned myself into rehab shortly afterwards.

Something that is supposed to be really good for that is iboga. Do some research into it. It is supposed to be very effective on stopping addiction. Here is the link to the sub-forum here on the Nexus about iboga.

For sure buddy. I hope your friend will get through her addiction. It is a pretty hard thing to go through. Honestly I do not regret it. It has helped shape me into the more mature person that I am today. If it would have never happened to me, I do not think that I'd have grown as much as I have in the last three years.
