I know this is in the wrong section but I cannot post it in the correct section yet. In my introduction topic I was asked if I could post some pictures of my entheo garden so here they are. It's not huge and has been growing for about a year and a half. Most of this stuff was seed grown which explains it's size and also my attachment, they are my babies Pleased

First up are my Psychotria Viridis leaf cuttings. Only a few months old.;

My salvia divinorum, one of my personal favourites. Treat her well and she rewards well;

Next an assortment of trichos, mainly Pachanoi;

Some smaller, from seed grown trichos;

My aya vine in the ground, she's been there a while and has only just started growing recently. Must have done something to please this beautiful plant;

My other aya vine which I will plant once I've cleared out a nicer place for her, funnily enough she's bigger than the grounded one;

My Acacia Floribunda, I cannot wait to see it in all it's flora-abundance when it grows older Very happy ;

My gang of Psychotrias, soon to be multiplied;

Acacia Acuminata and Obtusifolia, the Ob looks a little worse for wear, I should repot her soon;

To anyone thinking of starting an entheo garden my advice to you is DO IT! There is probably nothing more rewarding than watching these plants grow and in doing so the plants also grow you Love Also in the long term it would be most ideal for our journeys to have the lowest impact on the environment and one way you can ensure that is to grow your own. So take the step today and begin cultivating consciousness Thumbs up

Thanks for sharing in my plants ombience!

You have some real beauties there. I love your selection.

How old is the acuminata?

Beautiful! The little red peppers look delicious too.

Do you get much cold weather or freezing around where you live?

Thank you all for your kind words. I take pride in my little garden and it is nice to hear that other people appreciate it!

ManifestTheMind,
It all depends on your climate. If you live in fairly warm climates they love it. I haven't had one that's not in the ground so naturally they're going to grow quicker in the ground so I can't tell you how much slower they grow in a pot but I could almost sit there and watch mine grow Smile

Mithrandiir,
The acuminata is the oldest of my acacia's, she's about 2.

Mustelid,
It never freezes, gets to a couple of degrees above freezing but luckily for a lot of my babies it doesn't quite get there. In fact if it ever did I would be quite shocked.

Good Garden Smile
Are you moving the cacti indoors in the winter or leave them outside covered from rain to get them into the winter sleep?

Poekus,
To be honest I just leave them out. No one I knows that lives in a climate like mine does either of them either. I've never heard of cacti going into sleep phase so I'll have a read as it might really help them Smile

Sally certainly is a rewarding plant, yours is looking happy.
Will be posting some pics of my friends soon. :-)

Nice! And welcome to the nexus Smile

I've never grown anything before but I am starting a garden this year. Mostly just veggies, but I will also have some cannabis. I have been thinking about getting some T. Bridgesii to grow and I would also like to grow some salvia divinorum but idk where I can get seeds for salvia. Also my friend gave me a spore print, but I don't have a syringe, but I would like to grow some mushies sometime.

Your plants look good. I especially like the pic of the salvia

I find you there, your arms surround me, your spirit fills me and it grounds me.
I look to you, Lady of Truth, most ancient One, yet eternal youth,to keep me safe, protect my heart,and with the wisdom you impart, fill up my empty mind and soul,so that, my Lover, you can make whole, all that was broken in this day –and that is what I ask and pray.

Nice plants T.A. ! can I call you that ? I'm a lazy bastard and tend to abbreviate names.

I just glossed over this thread last week but now I have more info I have to comment.

It's nice to see my babies now they've left home and grown up Smile

Have you got a protected area for the viridis when winter hits ? they drop like nine pins in this climate without protection, but they're well worth the effort.

As for putting cactus into hibernation in winter, that's not needed at this latitude, that's only needed for those living in climates that get a real winter with heavy frosts or snow.

I can vouch for this guy when it's time for a promotion, I haven't been here long so I won't push the point too much.

He's Nexus material for sure, he's also a very intelligent character who could contribute a lot given the chance. Thumbs up

That salvia divinorum is very nice. How old is it?
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

Hieronymous,
You can call me whatever you wish aslong as it doesn't start with arrr and end in aye. It'll be even better when they are all in the ground and 10ft high! Yeah I thought that might have been the case. There's one cactus garden I'm thinking of (I'm sure you probably know what one I'm talking about) that I seen last winter that weren't sheltered at all. Thanks for the kind words mate but I have already been promoted Big grin

Korey,
The Salvias I would say are about a year and a half old perhaps. I have 6 in total and they are all in the ground. If you live in an appropriate climate I suggest planting a few together if you have the opportunity. I have taken cuttings for friends and they don't seem to do nearly as well as the ones I have and I think that it might have something to do with them being closer together.

Where's that face slap smiley when you need it, I didn't even notice that your seedling was gone.

The lives of all they occupy their eyes in dismal gloom the all-piercing,dead oculi - mirrors of our doom Oblivious to the trespass as you gaze into the black the demon of surveillance insultingly staring back Into you,they own your every secret, your life is in their files the grains of your every waking second sifted through and scrutinized,they know your every right. They know your every wrong,each put in their due compartment - sins where sins belong
