Hello all, as of very recently I created an account and this will mark the first post (of hopefully many more to come) that Cosmic made at the Nexus. After saying that, I will begin by providing some background into the origins of my interests into the "other", mysticism, altered consciousness, and "boundary dissolution."

The earlier, up to the later parts of my relatively young life were saturated with religious ideologies and shallow materialist desires; an unconscious, yet awaken-state of existence under western mainstream values and belief systems.

The path I was set to travel drastically changed after my first few inhalations of Cannabis smoke. The realizations I made during those first few smoke sessions is something I attribute to my personal "awaking". The pure humanness and ecstasy I felt was so profound, I was/am forever changed/changing into something else; something alive and (however feebly) attempting to understand the nature of the Cosmos in combination with my relation to this mysterious existence.

I have had a relatively small number of psychedelic "voyages" up until this point of my life, but having spent hundreds of hours reading and listening to the likes of: Terence McKenna, Sasha Shulgin, Aldous Huxley, Ram Dass, Alan Watts(ect.) I know the time has come in my human journey to experience what I have not ever before, a DMT Flash .

I remember reading on a forum somewhere that with pure intent and desire DMT will have a funny way of finding you, and my current situation can't be described as any differently. The plant source, supplies, and information all came into alignment within a short span, and within the next few weeks Mycats will be preforming their first ever extraction in hopes of retrieving free-base crystals that will catalyze a breakthrough into un-englishible realms in search for the "other".

I would like to thank the Nexus community (and you for reading this) for being so wonderful in bringing together a like minded collection of "inter-dimensional travelers".

Make sure 'Mycat' reads the Wiki and the teks contained therin carefully, and I wish that you get a good result.

The experience, should it come your way, is best approached without any pre-conceived notions of how it will be; reading around is recommended and prudent but the proof of the pudding is definitely in the 'eating', as it were.
