Hello all! Im a newbie through and through and i am glad to join this website, because of the nearly year i spent researching and exploring ways to procure DMT, this site has been there for me more times than i can count.

Earlier this morning i had come across a few threads that were very inspiring and after reading through them i figured, "hey seems like a cool headed community..Why not join"...So i finally registered and i hope to share and read up on as much as i can..

Anywho i figure i should take some time to give some slight background on myself..To be honest, i have very scant experience with any sort of psychedelic. Only a mere two times i smoked weed and found it to be a waste of my time. Otherwise im an alcoholic at times and when im not i spend my time and days meditating.

What drew me into DMT, wasn't the nice youtube videos, nor a certain series of videos that have become popular these days, but more so through my meditations. Now while ill admit that i have definitely been influenced by media out there it wasn't what drew me into wanting to do what i have done and intend to do..

Also for those that dont want to read this part as it will be pretty long...ill color it so you can just skip to the end. lol long drawn out back story.But this is the Intro-Essay section right?

Anywho when i was younger i meditated. ALOT. And was able to find myself in a state of mind that. Well i just cant describe. Not even 10 years after i stopped i just begin to explain the wonder it was to be in that state of mind A few years ago, a series of events led me to start back meditating again. At first it was like learning how to ride a bike again. As if i never spent 10 years NOT meditating. But then...I hit a brick wall. Almost a year ago now, i got to a point where i couldn't progress like i was previously. I felt like i was missing something when i meditate..As if i was doing it all wrong now. i panicked and nearly lost my way i guess...Until a few months ago when one of my better meditations ended with a message from a higher power i had come to trust. It...showed me what my problem was and an OUT i guess you could say?? That OUT was to experience DMT. Complete newbie and all.

Now while i had my hesitations about it, curiosity got the best of me. I began to scour the web searching for anything on topic with what to do, how to make it, this and that. And of course there were ups and downs, lifes toils, and some shady-ness that slowed me down.

But through it all, i find myself here. And i literally mean HERE as in this site.
You know if anyone cared to read all of that, then i hope you dont just view me as some new kid thinking this is a way to get high. There are many other reasons why i find this method very appealing and if anything there is a sort of FEEL i have about it all, especially after now joining this site. Anywho, thanks for reading my intro.

Here in the upcoming weeks ill have alot of questions and hopefully i few stories as well. I am also very very open to anyone Else's experience's with this substance esp if it involves meditation. Thanks for reading...Sorry about the length. Also forgot to say. Ive just now finished my first few successful extractions...Drying them out right now!

I don't think you come off that way at all. You seem very mindful about your intentions. I think the fact that your desire to experience DMT came through a channeled message from a higher power just gives you more credibility!



This is one of the main reasons why I like the Nexus so much... The general attitude on this website recognizes the sacredness of the molecule, the intensity of it, and the danger and stupidity of openly talking about buying/selling.

Compare that to other places... I spend a lot of time on Reddit, and I am subscribed to r/dmt (I'm considering leaving it), and the attitude is totally different. In general, reddit tends to be populated with overly-skeptical, overly-analytical atheists who recognize nothing as sacred. Consequently, that page has a lot of talk about just getting "fucked up" questions about pricings, etc. And if that wasn't bad enough, several of us there think that the forum is infested with feds, some of the posts on there are so fucking obvious. It really disgusts me sometimes, but there are a few well-thought out posts that keep me there.

As for the Nexus, it's such a beautiful gathering of minds hearts and spirits. I really want to contribute more, I have a lot of experience and relevant knowledge that is directly applicable to many of the forum posts, but I can't because I'm still stuck here in the new members section with all the newbies too! SOME MOD PLEASE SEE THIS, PROMOTE ME PLEASSSEEE!

Hi spiral its nice to meet you! Earlier today i took a stroll through r/dmt and i agree the vibe is deffo different in there when compared to here. Although i kind of like it already because of the trip reports but the discussion of selling and buying...Eh not really up my alley.

I mean it really is something different when you extract your own ya know. My firt attempts were such a huge success and failure at the same time, that in my current ones Im a bit more careful with things, and i appreciate what i have alot more than if i would've taken other approaches.

But rewarding in and off itself to say the least. So how long have you been on this site? Any wisdom to share to a novice?

I originally came from another simmilar site. A friend recommended this site. And it I seems like a cool site full of information and people with more experience than me that I could really learn from. I will also like to o contribute some stuffi have learned also. C heers

Out of curiosity, SWIM was wondering about the vaporgenies for his first trip. For reasons not mentioned SWIM would prefer to use something that isnt a bong. So the Vaporgenie caught his eye. But should a begginer learn with it?
