Thank you all for the warm and loving replies. Reading through this thread a few times really helped me get past the big lowdown. I feel much better now, even though I'm still easily brought to tears and feel sad. The suicidal thoughts have thankfully subsided. Those thoughts were my biggest concern as they were really disconcerting.

I've quit taking other substances in the past week. I used cannabis to help deal with some of the initial flack and to render me couchlocked but I stopped that as well. I am still taking the 5-htp and I intend to take a 50mg dose twice a day. I've caught up my sleep debt and I'm paying some more attention to my diet.

To answer a few questions that popped up in this thread:
- We were smoking enhanced leaf and not changa for the exact reason mentioned: harmalas + MDMA can be a potentially lethal combination
- The pills did contain MDMA as they were tested

I've done some reflection on the situation and in retrospect I was unprepared for the dose and as a result paid a terribly high price. I hadn't eaten well for two days before due to stress, wasn't feeling 100% and then messed up with the recovery. I've changed my diet and ever since I started eating better a lot of the negatives were disappearing as well.

Thank you all for the love. Each and everyone of you are beautiful. Much love <3

It sounds like you are on the mend, which is awesome, so my advice may be late, but after raving, I often would take much higher doses of 5-htp (I saw a study that said that 300 mg a day was as effective as Zoloft in treating depression).
200 mg a day, if needed.

There hasn't been a whole lot of research done into what 5-htp does to the body in high doses or over the long haul, but it has helped me through many a low point, both drug-related and not.

Glad to hear your on the mend mate. I took ecstasy tablets about 7 months ago, first time Ive taken a tablet like that in years as I had cactus and decent mdma on occasion, 7 months ago I didnt and still dont to any drugs so I took an ecstasy tablet, people said yes they are mdma people tested them, great thats what you want but I swear theres something else in them, the whole not being able to pee, I dont know what that is but usually with mdma I can pee ok eventually, sometimes it can be a nightmare but this stuff was different, you just couldnt pee and it was horrible! I ended up with exploding head syndrome after it, similiar to dmt hitting when you smoke it, the noise, but you get these brain zaps instead of hyperspace accompanied with lots of fear, not nice! Took me a week to recover and I like you shouldnt have been doing it in the first place as I was kinda depressed the week before. Tablets are a complete gamble whether they test positive for mdma or not as you and myself have found out and I wont be risking it again! glad your getting better mate all the best! Thumbs up

Not being able to pee is a sign of something like MCPP or some other piperazine.
Reagent testing is not super reliable since a pill can contain a small amount of a
mdxx substance to give a reaction on a reagent test and then
it can contain really just about anything that you also have to test for if it's even possible.
