Hello, my name is BotanicalAlkaloid.
I have been to this site a handful of times over the last year or so and decided to make an account to try and provide any information I can contribute to the already present information. I feel that I can contribute some useful research that I have gathered from the past year or so from my own experiments and experiences. When it comes to the topic of psychoactive substances, I am neither pro nor con. I am pro information. I believe that one must make an informed decision when it comes to these matters. The main reason I decided to make an account is to learn. I am always searching for opportunities to learn and expand my mind in anyway that presents itself.

As you will understand, it's very difficult to read that and not ask what have you experimented with, and which kind of experiences did it bring. Even if you plan to post more details about it in another thread in the future, hint us ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) Welcome to the Nexus. "The Menu is Not The Meal." - Alan Watts

Yes, I have has some experience with psilocybin/psilocin containing mushrooms. The visions I've experienced on them are incredible and beautiful, mushrooms cured me of depression and anxiety. Mostly because they made me come to the realization that depression is merely a construct of my mind and I can alter my perception at any time. I also cultivate mescaline containing cactus so I have some knowledge in the rooting, seeding, and care of these cacti. I look forward to extensively researching DMT and related alkaloids before attempting an extraction from some local Phalaris Arundinacea. I find it fascinating that I am surrounded by this grass and I might as well take advantage of the opportunity. So I will be posting my findings on these psychedelics in due time.

I'm no expert but do your homework with dmt containing grasses. There may be some toxins in there.

Yes, I plan on doing extensive research for quite some time before I make an attempt. I am aware of toxins such as gramine present in these grasses. But I figure it's worth trying even if its a difficult extraction to pull off.

Exactly! I'm fairly certain that mimosa hostilis root bark is a thing of the past. But they cannot stop people from collecting grass from their yard.
