I haven't actually scraped yet, i like to wait till its 110% dry - so its still evapping probably for another 15mins, i like to do 3 freezer pulls.. i will weigh shortly and update

I posted this in the acacia forum... i had no trouble getting clean crystals and high yields with a stb tek on mhrb.. but when i couldn't get anymore mhrb i tried some acacia vendors. i did a stb and it was so-so, not too high a yield. then i did an acid to base tek and it was filled with fats and also low yield. I then followed cyb's tek with the salt and thick-lights heat method and i was floored by how succesful it was. Almost 2 grams of pure white crystal on about 70% of naphtha on the first pull alone. Hey gang, so sorry for the late response I've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to write up a trip report but will probably skip it due to my schedule and report back after the next one... In any case, here's the yield from the pull I posted earlier... weighed the paper separate and subtracted for the yield as the scale is hard to clean spice off without losing a bit. anyways the yield was 1.768g from 100g MHRB on the first pull, will probably have another .5g in the second - which i have yet to do still because i am so busy (still in the freezer - hoping for them huge xtals due to long freeze ) also, i seem to get white fluffy so easily i dont re-x. I love that you weighed the total and then subtracted the mass of the paper which explained the TARE function.

yerba, i didn't notice it, so i had to scroll back up. i too got a kick out of the paper with the tare instructions on it.  but chasebandit-----that is some good looking product, and looks to be a good yield too. grats! i hope i am half as successful when i get around to running my 1st batch. liveline Once you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change
