I am confused about one part of this tek. Step 8 says: "Go to bed. You should have a collection of snow globes waiting for you in the morning." and then step 9 says, "Pour each jar of naptha out through a coffee filter."

I'm confused here because when I put my naptha in the freezer it evaporates into small crystals, so what am I supposed to pour out the next day? How can I have snow globes in the morning still in a bath of naptha?

Thoroughly confused, please help!

You are precipitating the DMT out of the naptha not evaporating it when doing a freeze precipitation. Make sure your container has a lid over it if you are freeze precipitating.

Please forgive my noob-ness but when I pull the naptha from the mixture and put it in a glass pyrex dish in the freezer it all evaporates. How can I have "snowglobes" if it's still in liquid form? Are the crystals forming at the bottom of the solution and then I drain off the rest? The directions in the tek are sparse at this stage, please help!

I want to search on my own to not bother the community but damn if I can't figure out for the life of me what steps are required to go from pulled naptha to a finished product.

As DMT777 said, the naphtha does not evaporate in the freezer. It stays liquid but the dmt becomes insoluble and creates what looks like a snowglobe. pour the naphtha through a coffee filter to cath the crystals and scrape the side and bottom of the jar to get the rest

Did you seal the Pyex dish? ..

1: Put Naphtha in a Jam Jar
2: Jam jar in freezer
3: 12hours+
4: See Crystals on sides of Jam Jar
5: Slowly pour off liquid into a cup
6: Leave Jam Jar sideways with the lid off to evap
