I would like to travel to the Amazon in the near future to explore the spirit world with the help of Ayahuasca. Do you have contacts, info, warnings and such for me? I would like to avoid mainstream tourism. Ideally something pretty basic/primitive in the jungle (at the same time I would want a reliable curandero). Also, does anyone have any experience with Casa de la Madre by Pucallpa? Thanks.

In New York, we wrote the legal number on our arms in marker...To call a lawyer if we were arrested.
In Istanbul, People wrote their blood types on their arms. I hear in Egypt, They just write Their names.

Try looking in the DMT Experience Reports and Quality Experience Reports. That may give you some direction.

Right...but why are you interested in going to the rainforest to ingest a potent entheogen? What is your intention?

Try Pucallpa for starters. There´s don mateo, and elisa in san francisco, and don marcial a few k´s before you get to pucallpa.

In Iquitos there´s otilia,

Or you could choose more established healing centres, but they will cost more. I suggest you research the info i supplied first, this will give you a good base in terms of price and what to expect, etc.

I´m afraid that as a first timer, there is no ´perfect´ place. Unless you pay, you get basic, just don´t pay too much!

Ever since I ran into Dennis McKenna and talking to him a few months ago, I've been intrigued with the idea of travelling to the spirit world. Of course I want to explore it for myself, but I am also fascinated by the healing power that can be found. In other words I am curious and want to find out for myself and hopefully bring some spirit back here (to the States) where it seems people really could use a little more of it to take them off their single tracked consumerism.
Thank you for the other replies. I'll check into it.
