3 X 10 hours of boiling!

How did you extract if you drank the brew? Did you do something with the left over material? I'm surprised that there would be anything left after 30 hours of boiling!

I'm very interested to hear about the effects of the extracted alks... smoked/vaped, sublingual etc.

Thanks Smile

Yes he said that, and it was around 250 gr vine per serving needed to get the ball rolling.

One of the questions that (I thought) was still lingering from the 250g report was whether that was fresh or dried. Was that ever resolved?

It is now resolved,
I don't want to repeat another's words like a parrot but it is just too relevant.
It is indeed internet so all FWIW (some people question value of his statements):

we used 10kg fresh vine + 1kg fresh leaves , we did not add chacruna at that time but when we added chacruna it was more intense we did many many extractions of alicia anisopetala and all of them became great active!!
...
if you say that alicia was not active perhaps it was the extracting way or perhaps the vine that you used had not enough alkaloids, the alicia vines we were using were harvested straight from our jungle places where no people have the fortune to look at it.

He also said that his experience was that Tabernaemontana sananho contains DMT cus when brewed with vine he had visions..just saying I dont necessarily trust that guy and I dont think this forum should just take his word on issues like this.
Long live the unwoke.

Is he actually saying that his results are impossible to reproduce? Because he only can harvest it straight from the jungle and others do not have the fortune to look at it? Where is the merit in that?

It could very well be that alicia has some actives oly present in the fresh vine and/or that things can work as he describes, but damn man, doesn't he sound fishy. I agree with jamie here, unless we have a cleared idea of what is happening, we shouldn't' just take his word for it.

In Chaliponga's brew testimony:
One other thing is the 1 kilo alicia leaves in the 700 ml brew, and 45 ml per serving: so they had like 64 grams of alicia leaves per serving.
If those leaves have little of the characteristics of chaliponga leaves (some degree of activity without maoi), they might as well experienced the leaves.

Is it possible for actives to become inactive while drying? Doubtful I guess, and if so no value for us.

i would imagine if the molecule is delicate enough it might get oxidized or otherwise degraded..

I notice that the only experience report regarding the Alicia Anisopetala leaves is from ChalipongaDream, since this isn't too detailed or specific I was wondering whether or not any of you guys had tried using the leaves as an admixture? I've got two A. Anisopetala live vines on the way and am trying to find out more about them. So far there's not a whole lot to go off in regards to the activity of the leaves only mixed results with the vine, at least as far as I can tell.

Cheers,
A.

Unexplored territory eh? I like the sound of that, for the most part Big grin Unfortunately I don't think the plants will come with a significant amount of foliage on them so it'll be a while until I can try it in a brew but I will be sure to let you guys know how it goes when I finally get to try them Thumbs up
