ok nexus I have a quick question,
my pet tuatara has some old basic mimosa solution and he stored them in plastic jugs for lack of a better thing to store them in and to do a later jungle extraction with. I read that storing mimosa solution in plastic can lead to toxins seeping into the solution from the plastic, is this true? The friend of the dinosaurs was wondering if this solution is contaminated and worthless now or if he is free do to jungle pulls on it. If so he has some solution stored in glass that should be fine but I was just wondering for my little reptiles' sake if the solution in plastic is good to go or not, him not being able to type and such.

Yes it's true, they are called plasticizers, and they leech even when doing a normal extraction. It doesn't help matters to store it for long periods of time, which are notorious for spouting leaks.

Get it done and recrystallize your product.

Oh you haven't met my pets So would you say that the mimosa solution I have that is in plastic jugs is useless now? And what is this about recrystallizing? I didn't mention anything about recrystallizing. The question is pertaining to whether or not the aforementioned mimosa solution in plastic is usable for a jungle extraction or not. Is it?

Yeah, it is, I was just trying to reduce your exposure to plasticizers. You can smoke it straight out of the solvent if you want... I wouldn't.

Cool, thanks a ton house. I'll dump out that ol' nasty plastic contaminated stuff and use the solution I've been storing in glass.

I think the general consensus is that if it's HDPE you *can* use it but you might be exposing yourself to what house and the OP were talking about. While this is probably nothing life-threatening, I suppose that if it can be avoided, it should be, since it's your health that's at stake.

That being said... you must be doing huge extractions if you have to reduce your mimosa tea to make it fit into gallon jugs... Please be responsible about what you do with your spice...

What House was trying to say (from what I can understand)is:

YES the plastic will leach into your basic solution. YES it could very well be contaminated (RIGHT NOW AS WE TYPE)

The recrystallization comes into play AFTER you have made use of the “plasticated” basic solution, to attempt removal of any impurities.

You COULD throw plastic basic solution away, that is up to you if you have enough supplies / ample bark. However, to work sparingly, I would finish up pulls, re-x, and then stick to glass from then on out.

uh... I'm not sure what to say...

the plastic dmt *may* be cleaned if you find a solvent that doesn't dissolve dmt but dissolves plastic. I personally don't know of any, and would not be sure in how to clean it up. Though it may hurt, I would toss it.

What is colored dmt and how did you get it?

Use glass and free yourself of doubt.

So you're saying you used Coleman's (I assume camping fuel or something?) to do all of your extractions and you got red, blue, and green dmt?

If you didn't use xylene/toluene/limonene, you don't have "jungle spice," you have contaminated DMT. As people have been telling you, if you have contaminated DMT, you need to get rid of it, as it could be hazardous to your health. Can you really put a price on your health when you can always extract more DMT?

Please don't smoke what you have and definitely don't give it to other people. Have you been giving/dosing people with colored or plastic-infused DMT? If you have, you should stop dosing anyone and tell anyone you gave it to, so that they don't keep smoking it.

You really don't want to play around with your health or anyone else's. Please take some time and do some reading. It's good to see that you're concerned about the problems you have caused; now take the appropriate steps to make sure you don't make these or similar mistakes in the future.

EDIT: Also...how much DMT are you extracting that you are reducing your extractions to multiple one-gallon containers???

Seriously, how much DMT are you extracting? It sounds like you have a LOT of 1 gallon extraction vessels. Why?? What are you doing with all of this DMT? I should remind you we have a strict No Selling stance here. Please re-read the Attitude.
