That clown story actually gave me a really hearty laugh, i forget the days when i used to laugh so much.

hehe, the clown reference made me laugh too!

if I want to laugh really hard, I take some bloomers (if I can find em) and watch some silly comics, I find harder darker comedy less humorous and can make me think in a darker way, and not laugh as much.

I find silly comedy and even silly cartoons (tom and jerry) can really make me laugh on shrooms!

a good tripy laugh beats regular laughing hands down

a few friends of mine rate ketamine and shrooms combined for laughing , giggling and just plain messed up fun times.

Ket is a bit to much for me tbh.

I would say shrooms are the best laughing psychedelic! for me anyway

I almost forgot!! I can't believe I almost forgot!

Over my Christmas break I went on a shroom trip, with fresh psilocybe cyanescens and rue (if you ever have the chance do this, trust me). It was a wonderfully blissful trip, probably my best ever. I was laughing and being goofy, and my brother put on some funny videos on youtube. The video posted here came up. I had already been rolling lauging and then this video came up, and I lost it. I have never laughed that hard in my entire life, by about 10 times, and I know this for a fact. DMT and shrooms both have made me feel like I'm about to die, but this was the closest time I have ever come to dying from laughing! I'm not even kidding! It was unbelievable!

I've never really laughed from DMT, and have only done LSD once. There's something about mushrooms, when they get goofy, all bets are off.

The only psychedelic that has nearly killed me with laughter is lsd. Watching a british comedian called charlie chuck had me doubled up, couldn't breathe and wasn't even making a laughing sound. It was silent hysteria. Very enjoyable at the time though!

Watching cheech and chong on shrooms years ago gave me a great laugh too and dmt gave me some major giggles when an entity transformed out of my computer tower and tried to anal probe me with a red flashing beacon :0

Lsd for me is definitely best for a laugh though.

It all depends on how you feel before going into a trip.

This is how I see it:

LSD = Super intense, semi-controllable, synthetic laughter.
Mushrooms = Very gradual buildup to meaningless hilarity.
DMT = Feeling like if you tried to smile, you might change the fate of the universe and possibly tear the fabric of reality.

...Which usually results in smiling so hard, your face feels like an alien entity.

YES! When your around a couple good friends on mushrooms or LSD, the exchange of storys are some of the most intense, as you put it "gut busting" experiences i've ever encountered. I remember one time we we're all sitting around the fire, telling storys, and my one buddy (who's always been a real funny guy) started telling this story about various people he works with (and people i know because I used to work alongside him)....i'll tell you what, hands-down one of the most terrifying fits of laughter i've ever encountered, like an hour straight. I collapsed to the ground, unable to move, having intense pains from laughing toooo much. I ended up walking upfront (2 acre property) and although I was considerably far away I could still hear the faint sound of my good friend still rambling on and on......inescapable laughter .

Any who, sorry to get off topic buy I had to get that out there after reading this. Yeah DMT, you become intensly absorbed in the visions being broadcast. I've had bits of laughter AFTER coming back, but nothing on the note of LSD/mushrooms. DMTs certainly more serious in it's approach..

DMT has made me grin wide as possible from whatever experience I was having.
I have also felt my jaw drop open from my astonishment.

There was an occasion while smoking some changa with a friend and I was flying into this huge grinning jokers teeth, but it wasnt scary. I must have been laughing because far away i could hear my buddy ask what I was laughing at.
I had forgotten about life for a bit.
As I approached the teeth I saw things I cant explain swinging on the teeth and jumping around and laughing.

Ive wept from the overpowering love and joy too.

The severity of DMT and quickness of oncoming effects make it a very serious matter for me. While on shrooms I see my reality slowly begin to shift and I realize infinite comical things we humans do and how we live is just halarious to me. However, on low doses of dmt I think after the initial rush you will find things to be comical similarly to shrooms, but this will last only a short while. DMT is not the drug to take to have a good, fun time. But more of a learning expirience, like reading a profoundly explicable book on all things real. You may laugh as you realize how small you are, or how insignificant many things in the world are, but it will be a laughter of new learning and wisdom, not of halariousness or comedy.

I haven't taken any psychedelics yet but if i compare my old days with pot, i can see how silly stuff makes more sense. Totally different experiences sure, but retarded or loose humor would bring up more genuine laughs. I never watched to much Tom and Jerry but i loved Looney Tunes or slapstick nonsensical comedy. I shall be ready when it comes lol.

The most recent time I had the giggles was when I had a sub-breakthrough dose along with thinking about Buddhist philosophies in a nonverbal way in my mind. The laugh was a laugh at my realization that we are Buddha all day long, and that there are only these imagined/manifested obstacles that we impose on ourselves or are imposed on us through social conditioning. It's been pretty fun seeing my own folly and having ecstatic laughter while I'm spicing it up.
