I'm and old skool custom map battle.net player, starting with SC1 then WC3 then SC2. I've played melee sc1(and other games) comptetively in my early teens only to realise I'm too addicted to keep going so I quit. I get insane heartbeat, red face, shaking hands, massive adrenal responce and altered state of consciousness when I face an opponent worth facing - my doc said I should quit if I wanna live healthy. Needless to say I envy the guys who can remain calm playing on a pro level, I could never do that. I still avidly watch progaming scene, it's been quite intense I must admit. 400 APM koreans are beyond belief, they give me goose bumps

A year ago I got into the #1 played custom in sc2(squadron TD) which was a remake of WC3 Legion TD, which I've played before release of SC2, and stayed on top level for a while(even getting euro account so I could face better players on euro realm). I like it because it doesn't require reflex/speed but rather rewards your way of thinking.
Got to semi finals of NA championships of squad TD last year and quit during it because of life circumstances. If you play customs deff join squadron TD channel, my tag is Praxis

DeDao, Yeah I could see that, but I just figured I'd ask, I used to game a lot in years past but once I got into the work force I found my focus had shifted to other things. Ive just found myself with free time lately and Starcraft 1 was a childhood pasttime of mine! SC 2 is the only game I play haha.

John Smith, Yes I used to play customs on SC1 and melee and custom on WC3. No arcade on SC2 for me yet, ive been trying to improve my skill in ranked matches!

Wow thats intense! Sometimes its hard for me to stay calm while playing, and if i get angry Ill stop for the day and come back another time. Hahaha yeah Koreans are insane, most apm ive managed is like 285 or something like that haha.

Wow man thats deadly! I will have to check it out sometime soon once i get into the arcade! But for now I am glued to the melee aspect of the game, its just too good!

I used to play starcraft. Still do sometimes, but mostly just watch gsl these days. Not too much of a gamer anymore.

Played Sc2 for a small time, quickly saw it separating me from nature and stopped.
