Hello! I discovered this website a few years ago and found it to be an amazing source of information, and a great community comprised of a wide spectrum of intelligent and wise members. I have finally decided to become a member as I would like to add and share my knowledge and experiences and hopefully to learn from many of the great minds here! Happy to now be a part of this great community! Big grin

I live in the great white north and have my whole life, finding life to be pretty good these days. I enjoy spending time with my family, girlfriend, and friends, hiking, camping, driving, movies, music(Death Metal, Jazz, Psychedelic Rock, some Classical, some Rap/Hip-Hop, and small amounts of electronic music.), keeping Tarantulas is a joy for me as well, and I am trying to grasp playing guitar(coming along slowly but surely Laughing ). I am a welder by trade and enjoy my work and it has enabled me to create a pretty nice life for myself, I've purchased my own house, and went on 3 vacations in a period of 16 months at age 21-22. Going to the city Amsterdam and a Death Metal festival in Northern Germany was a huge highlight! I am proud of myself and my accomplishments.

I really like smoking marijuana, although work drug testing for pre-employment perodically forces me to shut it down. I enjoy psychedelic experiences, and have for quite a few years now. I found the website Erowid.org when I was 14 and read everything I could about psychedelics like Psilocybin Mushrooms and LSD before making the conscious decision years later to try them. I estimate I have used Mushrooms over 100 times from age 16 until about last year(been hard to find the quality I used to have access too in years past) and had nothing but what I believe to be positive, spiritual, life-enhancing experiences. I Tried LSD at minor doses at age 18, and afterwards was unable to find it for sometime. Eventually got my hands of some quality blotter and had many great experiences. What a positive and uplifting substance it is! Just splendid and beautiful!

Now to begin with my experiences with the almighty DMT! I had read about it many, many times for about 5 years on both here and Erowid before it found me. The whole idea of it and its described effects completely fascinated me! I had just never heard of it outside of the internet and it seemed so rare that I almost doubted that I would ever get the chance to experience it. It wasn't until I met a great friend of mine through work in 2011, and somehow we ended up discussing it. I told him it was so rare I would probably never find it anywhere. He then said "you don't find it, it finds you. 1 in 1000 people will be blessed by the spirit molecule". He said he liked how I had researched and seemed to have a theoretical grasp on it(as far as that can go), and offered me around 4-6 doses as a gift. I undoubtedly accepted! I must say it took me almost a month to muster up the courage to smoke some of the aprrox. 200mg of fine golden yellow/orange dust(it was the exact color of the crystals on the www.erowid.org front page for DMT). Finally getting the courage I smoked about 40 mg of this DMT, and I was completely blown away. The colorful open eyed visuals were unlike anything I've ever experienced, the sounds, the head space, wow! Just WOW! Its all I could say for about 5 minutes after the experience had ended. It felt so perfect and wholesome and all I could think about was "I had nothing to be afraid of at all, that was everything that was beautiful and wonderful in the universe!" I was beyond impressed by every aspect of DMT. It felt so natural, but it was so utterly mind blowing in ways I never thought were possible! Every other trial afterwards was equally as amazing. I had fallen in love, so to speak! Love

From then until now I have toyed with the fantasy of extracting my very own, and have decided to eventually make it a reality as I believe that this should not be something purchased with money. The idea of extracting this for oneself is just fascinating! I know yellow/orange spice is not 'pure' DMT, but I had some white fluffy stuff from a friend who did a naptha freeze-precipitation, and I hate to say it but the experience felt almost hollow in a way, like it was missing something. It tasted very harsh as well. I didn't get taken away like I did on the last DMT I had tried. The visuals were nowhere near as impressive, audio effects were non-existant, and I didn't feel like my mind had been teleported into another universe. For the amount I put into the freebase pipe I estimate I got 5x-10x more the effects of the first yellow/orange DMT I tried. My friend was originally going to show me how to use his Tek but I am not interested in this kind. I would love to learn how to make spice similar to what I had before. The yellow/orange DMT had such a luscious golden color to it and had the consistency of fine quartz sand, and left nearly nothing behind on vaporization. Hoping this wonderful community can educate me on ways to achieve my goals. Then one day I would be proud to give back to the Nexus and share my knowledge. I would be forever grateful for help in my quest! Smile

Sorry if this was too long, but I just wanted to elaborate on my experiences with DMT and pscyhedelics in general, and give a description of who I am! Thanks to you all for creating, maintaining, and being a part of this wonderful community and I am proud to say I am a New Member of DMT Nexus!
Thanks to all who take the time to read this and reply!
Best wishes,

K.K.

Thank you for reading my intro and the replies!

AlbertKLloyd, yes I have a 4" unsexed P. Regalis, and a 1" P. Metallica sling! I also have a Female Acanthoscurria brocklehursti, 2 female Linothele fallax (funnel web mygalomorph), chromatopelma ceyanopubescans, pterinochilus murinus, pslamopoeus irminia, avicularia versicolor, and a brachypelma boehmei. Keeping tarantulas is pretty awesome! Do you have pokies and/or other T's?

Thanks Jin I am enjoying the Nexus so far, thanks for the welcome! Smile

Don"t worry, i don"t think you did anything wrong Smile , with regard to your hollow effects from the fluffy white stuff , it could be down to the vaping technique. When i have burnt it instead of vaping the taste has been harsh and the effects are not as intense.
It took me a bit of practice to atain vaping perfection with a vapourising device such as the vapour genie.
Welcome

Hug46, thanks for your reply! yeah i may have burnt it, we smoked it about 5 times in one week, and it only tasted super nasty 1-2 of those times, the others were decent. It had been over a year since I had tried DMT, in the summer of 2011 I had it down to science though lol

But I even smoked some of his in a bong with the sandwich method and the experience was still subjectively different. I just feel like i got much more intense effects off of this golden spice and the experience also seemed to last alot longer! My friend says open eyed visuals don't usually happen for him and he always closes his eyes for almost 5 minutes right after he takes his hits. I remember from my golden spice, you couldn't close your eyes because the visuals were so amazing, by the time i would inhale my third hit, I would see fractal patterns resembling the 'chrysanthemum' circling around the bulb of the the pipe which was right in the centre of my field of vision, and then it was like a whole new world had layered right over top of my setting. I recall looking through celestial gateways in the palms of my hands, flowers sprouting from my fingertips, and entities which spoke and played music for me. One trip I had these biomechanical creatures telling me in almost chipmunk-like voices(lol) "look at this! look at this man! you gotta see this!" and they were ripping holes in the air in my living room and I could see another universe through the holes! Sometimes I felt as if I no longer even had a body or I was being sucked into a vortex while simultaneously telepathically communicating with 30 people I know. Some trips I had music playing(usually technical death metal as it is so fast and chaotic, and to me, very psychedelic.) and it was completely unrecogonizeable. This fluffy white spice seemed to have light pastel fast-moving visuals reminiscent to the golden stuff although it was not as colorful or nearly as intense. The audio effects were nearly non-existent as well. My roomate who also tried the old golden stuff I had seemed to prefer its effects to the stuff 'D' had extracted. Why would this golden spice give such mega effects? I also seemed like I needed less in the pipe, but it was also alot finer than the fluffy-ish white DMT.

EDIT: I am also considering purchasing a GVG once i can afford one Smile

Nope, I am not yet set up for them but I have been wanting to get some and have been reading all I can about the genus. I would love a tall 60 gallon hex colony with a half dozen of them...
They are amazing spiders, very beautiful and even psychedelic looking. Their venom toxicology is one of the most intimidating I can think of that is non-fatal.

I too have had more intense effects from the colored spice verses the cleaner.
I kind of favor the xylene evap material to the naptha freeze crash after several direct comparisons but both are nice.

I used to keep Phidippus audax in jars with cloth tops... kind of like mini tarantulas.
I plan on getting some Pokies eventually, but they are not high on my priority list right now. It is nice to see someone here who likes them too!!!

Welcome!

A communal set-up? Cool idea man, I have read in forums of quite a few people who have successfully made it happen! Keep them well fed or you'll end up with one fat pokie lol!
Yes their venom has some nasty effects. It is quite intimidating! Another worrisome aspect to pokies I have noticed so far is their tremendous speed. The move like lightning! They could leap out of their container and bite you at light speed, although most prefer flight over fight. Cool you have kept jumping spiders, I have only seen pictures of them but read they seem to possess quite the level of intelligence, and have interesting personalities to go with it! Likewise man, get some pokies! You wont regret it, but make sure if you want to go communal you purchase them as slings and raise them together. I may try this one day.

I am going to attempt the Xylene or Toluene evap listed in Shaggy's Jungle Tek that I have been reading up on. Hopefully things work out for me! Cheers man! Big grin

Awesome man, cheers to making your own tunes! Must be a great time! I haven't listened to much reggae but I do like the Bad Brains, they play alot of punk but some reggae tunes as well.
Seems like you play a wide spectrum of stuff! Even some metal too? awesome
I really like this band, Decrepit Birth they are Technical Death Metal from Santa Cruz, California and the lyrics remind of voyages into realms akin to DMT hyperspace! The vocals in Death Metal seem put alot of people off so I have attached a instrumental song here for you to try, it is called Sea of Memories. Amazing!

Hey fractal, good to have you! You certainly seem to have a positive and inquisitive attitude which will certainly go far here. Your experiences will only become more meaningful and enriching with the Nexus as a resource. It is a god send (Don't let that et to your head Traveler Very happy)!

I think you are on the right track with shaggy's also look at Q21Q21's tek 1 JimJam Party... I've read many praises for it, but haven't done that one myself yet. If you can let go of the want for "crystals" you may find that you really are after the DMT and NMT mix that the fuller spectrum extractions pull. Which is probably what the orange crystals were... JimJam will get all the goodies and makes for great changa. Another highly recommended product if you haven't had it that way before.

Whatever it is you are after, you will find here. Just try different things and don't get too hung up on getting crystals, there are many here who will swear by changa and I might just be on my way to being one of those Smile although crystals sure are sexy Love

Welcome.

You can't do anything about yesterday, but you can do everything with tomorrow.

Everything I write on this forum is pure gibberish and fanciful nonsense!

Thank you oneironaut! This definitely seems like the right place to be asking questions and finding your research material! I cant wait to share my success and experiences here!
Yeah I haven't read that one yet but I will soon. I have read a bit about JimJam and it does seem interesting! But more so my quest for this yellow/orange spice is so I can hopefully recreate the material that had in 2011. It was way too good, the stuff my friend had extracted with Naptha freeze precip just didnt stack up. Maybe he didnt do it right or something, I dont know, I just wish I knew who extracted the old stuff I had, I know it was from Mimosa Hostilis bark and thats it. And the crystals were chopped into the finest particles, it was like quartz or silica dust, so fine and not fluffy at all! The color was almost exactly like the color in this photo(but not a big crystal, it had been ground into a dust), it looked like gold in a vial! It was way too good of material, it utterly blew me away, I didnt know it was possible!

But I will absolutely trying new things as my experience level increases! I would love to try changa, I will be looking up some teks in the near future Smile

Thanks for your reply!
