Hello all. Let me introduce myself as "seven" due to my fascination with guitars with an extra string. Over the past year I have lurked on this site learning as much as I can. And a few months ago did a small extraction due to the feeling of finally being prepared to make the voyage. Now I will not talk about the trips in this post as they are for another time and section. But I have made it a small goal of mine to learn all that I can and to teach others whom I feel are truly worthy and will be able to respect the spice. And it should be common knowledge that through teaching one will always learn. This is why I'm here. To help those that I can and go be helped by those who are willing. Currently I am waiting for my mhrb and a few other supplies to arrive. Which is scheduled to be Monday when the last thing arrives. And I will be doing 2 1kg extraction. Keeping lots of documented pictures for here of course! Well I must get back to reading and preparing for this life changing task. Nice to meet you all and I hope the choice of comin here will be utterly life improving at the least.

small piece of advice that i wish i had gotten before i did my extraction:
try it in small batches.. for a first one try 1/2lb, and see how manageable that is.


when i did mine, i did a pound all at once, but i ended up breaking it down into 4 smaller batches for pulling, made it much more efficient.

The way I'm doing it is 2 extractions 1kg each. But each kg broken down Into 500 gram batches in a 3500 ml hdpe container each. I have no fear for I'm quite good with chemistry and this is a very simple process

I have never done it before (extracting and/or experiencing dmt or any other psychedelics) and i am keen to give it a go!
I'm new to this forum but my soul is like a tiger in a small zoo cage, controlled by evil mind and ego. I'v read a lot and tried meny techniques (yoga) and although it improved the quality of my life, I still feel the urge to open the door and see what's out there by myself

Sorry about not posting back in this. Did 1 500g extraction. Got 2.7g and tomorrow going to get more maphtha and xylene(for the fabled jungle spice) and start 5 100g extractions witht the Normans tek

I find that doing smaller extracts (250g) is much more manageable. But that is just me. . It is a pretty simple process with great reward. I look forward to seeing how it goes.

Btw if you haven't checked yet, you can get cheap .01/.001 scales on ebay, got one for less than 10$

Just ordered a 10g x.001g and a 500g x .01 g which should be here 2 days from now. I'm hoping this will improve my extractions. Though the one I started yesterday was all eye balled (with the aid of a measuring cup) and all I can say is the ENTIRE bottom half of the mason jar is blocked out with off white crystals. Ill up load some pictures of a mason jar 1 hour after being put in the freezer and 2 hours after being put in.

I have some concerns that i am going to address, i do not mean to insult and am trying to raise these politely.

This concept of spice giving a "secret" is disturbing to me, but more so is this concept of "worthy"

What makes someone worthy?
If spice is able to teach, (i am not saying it does nor that it does not) then would it not be the one to decide who is worthy?

I think respecting the spice and treating it like a drug, a very powerful drug are not mutually exclusive. It is not a good recreational drug, but it strikes me as a drug, just like any psychoactive or medicine. I even think coffee is a drug.

As for secrets, everybody has their own experience, opinions and observations and I have no problem respecting that, but I am exceedingly wary of this type of notion.

Every lesson I have learned from psychedelics entails realizing what I already knew, but that is me. I have a lot to learn and ZERO to teach though, so for all i know you are here to teach me.

When you ask what I want to teach and learn. They are both scientific things, not spiritual. For instance a friend and I are working to find the best way to mix spice and DMSO for subdermal use. That would be an example of something I would love to teach people how to do once it's been perfected. As for learning I will take any advice or knowledge given to me. As you states with some of my post and the "holier than thou" attitude that is completely unintentional. And about me not considering this a drug. To me a drug is something people use recreationally. Though things like coffe or tea could be considered drugs, to me they are not and I'm not trying to get people to think otherwise (if it comes across that way I am truly sorry) but it is just a personal opinion of mine.
