This is very interesting, I've been involved with resveratrol research/use myself in the past and never even realised it could be used as RIMA. From what I've read, you're right, resveratrol is not very bio-available orally. Blood plasma concentrations are low when compared to absorption through oral mucosa. Problem is though, you can't just take regular resveratrol, put it under your tongue and expect the results like you do it with extracted harmalas. It's got it's own issues why it doesn't work well bucally/sublingually(solubility issues etc).
It is still worth trying however. There's such a great variety of resv formulations that some of them might just work. Some use additives to increase bio-availability. Theres also particle size reduced resv which helps with that problem.
Quote:"Mesh 80" is about 0.178mm particles
"Mesh 120" is about 0.12 mm particles (120um)
"Micronized" particles are about 1.0 um and in some cases lower.
I still have some leftovers from a 25gram bag of M98 Micronized I bought years ago. I found there's a definitely a subtle effect when I use about one 300mg scoop, spread it carefully between gums and cheeks and just keep it there for prolonged periods of time(also use the finger the spread it where it clumps too much). I don't like sublingual since saliva tends to wash it away too quick.
Now the problem lies with dosages, I'm wondering the amounts required to achieve enough MAO inhibition for sublingual dmt to work. Theres around 10 grams left in that old bag(expired '11 tho) Ill see what comes out it. Also, I should make spice fumarate, right ?
