Hello All,

I have had three DMT experiences, all mimosa tea and have experienced a very difficult time with the long comedown. A quick rundown of the experiences:

1st was too high a dose (10g 3x30min boil mimosa w/ 3g rue 1x30min boil). This trip lasted 3-4 hours

2nd was very small dose (5g 3x30 boil mimosa w/ <3grue 1x30min boil). This trip was always grounded and gentle.

3rd was modest dose with much more maoi/rue (6.4g mimosa 3x30min boil, 4.5g rue 3x30min boil). This one lasted 8-10 hours.

My first and third experiences had one thing in common. After the portion of the experience where I had no body/ego and the veil between 'I' and everything was gone, what I am calling the slow comedown, I had a VERY VERY hard time with.

The comedown I experienced was very harsh where I feel stuck in time, impatient for it all to be over. I would experience coming back in and out of feeling human/single self. Numerous times I would think "I" would never fully return. The level of frustration not being able to end the experience was insanity both 1st and 3rd experiences. Especially the 3rd where the comedown started around the 4-5 hour mark and I had another 3-5 hours left to deal with coming in/out of self awareness.

I have asked on chat for suggestions on how to cope with and lessen this comedown hell and it seems common for brew/tea dmt experiences. I would like to share the few suggestions as well as open up the discussion for others who have experienced this and what they did to find peace during that comedown.

Suggestions:

listen to gentle / positive music (I tried with little success)

Yoga (I did not try this yet but will keep it in mind for next time)

Sleep (I tried this but I was way too wound up and actually scared to sleep to go back into complete dissociation of self)

Stare at a candle (I tried this but couldn't relax into it and impatience would take over quickly)
