I wonder what it would be like to take a psychedelic further in the future. Or perhaps in the deep dark past.

Interesting thought in my opinion.

What are you guys thoughts?
"Think more than you speak"
"How do you get rid of the pain of having pain in the first place? You get rid of expectations"
"You are everything that is. Open yourself to the love and understanding that is available."
"To see God, you have to have met the Devil."
"When you know how to listen, everyone becomes a guru."
" One time, I didn't do anything, and it was so empty... Almost as if I wasn't doing anything. Then I wrote about it. It was fulfilling."

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

My thought is that taking certain psychedelics transports me to the past and future.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

But would they be perceived differently?

It would depend a lot on the culture and society. Look at the difference in perception of psychedelics just from say 1950 to 1970 to 2013 in the USA. The status quo outlook on psychedelics would probably be very different at each of those times.

I know, I was more testing or poking at our fellow poster's opinion :]

You and I perceive psychedelics differently and we exist at the same time. How we interpret such experiences is a matter of context: The sum of every experience from childhood to now. And that's different for every person at every moment. I can hardly imagine how a I would perceive psychedelics if I took them now, much less in the past or future.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.
