File this one under "Out of the Mouths of Babes". Does this place sound familiar to anyone? Hmm...As I've always thought, children have access to realms that we as adults must use entheogens to access. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97RVxK2lvVw

I have also always though the same thing. When you are a child you have two things that 99.9% of adults lost. The first being a completely open mind without barriers and an unlimited creativity. If we opened our minds more we might see these things to .

Kids say the darndest things.
Hahaha but no, i definitely agree with you man. Children have such a pure consciousness. I believe they have something that most people can lose over time and that is their innocents.

Agreed, i believe its partly the development of the ego that closes off some areas of consciousness, the more sure we are of something the more closed we are to its alternative. I think kids have much more underdeveloped egos than adults and this is why they are more open. I could be wrong, it just makes sense to me. peace I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention in fact everything I write here is a lie !
I hope in some way, my posts and replies may of helped you, I hope you like what I have said here if not feel free to send me a none flame PM

Also, if children see an elf for example, they would probably be more inclined to believe it were real (as a result of being not overconditioned) whereas a skeptical adult could see the same thing, but quickly write it off as some kind of visual aberration. The very close-minded nature of the adult may prevent us from seeing these things without some strong chemical assistance. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

"When I open my passageway all this magic diamond stardust fairy dust comes out..." I think many of us can relate. Funny how all of the comments talk about how wonderful kids imaginations are. I didn't see a one that considered that just maybe they simply haven't yet developed the filters required to not see this. Images of broken light, Which dance before me like a million eyes, They call me on and on...

Do you think we require these filters though, or we just develop them as part of conditioning to the physical world? Peace I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention in fact everything I write here is a lie !

Do you think we require these filters though, or we just develop them as part of conditioning to the physical world? Peace Excellent question. I would be lying if I said I had an answer. I do know that I had several experiences as a child that were as psychedelic as most things I have experienced with ingested psychedelics. I still value them greatly. When I first did acid, one of the realizations I had after coming down was Wow, this is that place.Images of broken light, Which dance before me like a million eyes, They call me on and on...

Really! that's very interesting, I cannot say I have had that experience ... it just shows how closely linked psychedelics are to a truly open mind. do you think it is safe to say on one level, psychedelics allow us to open our mind as if we have no worldly filters at all? Peace None at all? Doubtful, but though I have had some very deep experiences I have never experienced what a lot of people seem to refer to as total ego loss. I have seen the interconnectedness of all things and experienced myself as part of a far greater holistic being beyond my everyday perceptions but I don't think I have ever completely lost all sense of self. That's just my experiences so far though. I remain open to the possibility of moar. Images of broken light, Which dance before me like a million eyes, They call me on and on...

But because of my beliefs in other spirits and beings, i would probably try to recreate the situation to make sure what i saw was really what i thought i did. Lol
