Last night we drank ayahuasca made of caapi vine and chaliponga.

During the session the caapi ran out, but there was still chaliponga.

So we did a cup of just that and it was very interesting. Like you got to know the character of the plant.

Chaliponga is a very unruly plant. It goes everywhere at the same time in short. After drinking it there was a gradual onset, but it went straight up to the head. It felt very lightheaded and buzzy. I saw something like DMT elves at the start. But it also swept through very much everything in my mind.

What was missing was the stern guidance of the caapi vine. Or let's say, chaliponga needs a strong master or it will bounce you into all directions at once. I could clearly feel there were a lot of different tryptamines at work.

We tried to fix it with harmine-hcl extract, but that was no substitute for vine though. The interesting thing was here that I firsthand experienced why caapi and chaliponga are mixed. It's just a very unruly plant.

So are there more unruly plants out there? I kinda liked it in hindsight.

Oh to be concise a bit: What about psychotria viridis? I read it contains pretty much only nn-dmt. So how is this when you take it without caapi.

It's a bit tricky ofcourse, bcause taking it requires a mao-inhibitor, so taking it (orally) without vine or rue at all is impossible.

This thing about plants and their character is interesting. I didn't thought it to be such a profound experience. But the unruly chaliponga clearly introduced itself without any doubt.
