i moved from california to the uk. in california the only people i knew who used synthetics were some pro water polo players who got tested. in the uk, finding real weed is much more difficult here, its not as profitable when teenagers looking to get messed up can buy a herb that one pinch will get them high.. they completely ignore the fact that this so called "whitey" doesnt happen with the real stuff

This is very sad Crying or very sad . Dunno if for sure that was caused by synthetics but regardless I think this is good example why cannabis should be legal. I've tried my share of synthetics like mr. nice guy or spice, and found them horrible! Felt far from anything natural and just screwed up my body and mind. How people resort to something wayyyy more dangerous and unhealthy then cannabis is a strong example of why cannabis should be legal. At least 2 US states got it right now. Come on rest of the world, get with the program!

I bet regular potpourri will also cause brain damage if you smoke it. My question is why this hasn't happened to anybody else who has smoked this stuff. This case is evidence that this brand is unhealthy to smoke, but there are thousands of other cases that are evidence that it is fine to smoke and that this girl's condition (or at least its alleged cause) is BS. I'm not saying that this girl's illness is a hoax, just that it isn't sufficient evidence to start a witch hunt, though it looks like that may happen anyway.

I know it's bad, but I'm always skeptical of stories like this because of stories like this.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

As a long term and often heavy smoker in the UK this experience is totally the opposite to mine. So far I have seen synthetic cannabinoids and smoking mixtures based on them a grand total of once.

Pulling a whitey is totally possible with weed or hash. I have experienced it myself and seen it in others many times over many years and in times before synthetic cannabinoids existed on the open market.

I'm tired of all of it. I don't partake in that silly game any longer.

It's possible, these articles need to give more specifics and mention wether or not the individual was on any sort of medication or not.

I'm pretty sure klimax contains AM-2201, which is a full agonist at the CB1 and CB2 receptors. Though some cannabinoids in marijuana usually cause vasodilation, there are some reports in the literature which claim that both delta-8- and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinols can cause vasoconstriction, though THC is a partial agonist at the CB1 and CB2 sites.

I wouldn't be surprised if this individual overdosed on AM-2201, and with it's affinity as a full agonist at both CB1 and CB2 it is plausible for this compound to induce severe and deadly vasoconstriction in situations of over dosing or even being introduced into a sensitive peripheral nervous system.
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”
