Let me enter in this mess and see if we can clean some things up.

THE SCIENTIFIC METHODOn this site I want to see reliable information that is both logical and reproducible. For that we have this wonderful things called the
scientific method.
I see that many people in this thread do not completely understand the scientific method but are ironically able to state their opinions here due to that same scientific method (science made the internet possible remember).
Let me be the first to pop the misconception that the scientific method will prove anything: it does not. In fact, the scientific method will NEVER 100% prove anything, it even does the exact opposite: it tries to DISPROVE ideas.
Here is a nice pragmatic scheme of how the scientific method works:
1. Define a question
2. Gather information and resources (observe)
3. Form an explanatory hypothesis
4. Test the hypothesis by performing an experiment and collecting data in a reproducible manner
5. Analyze the data
6. Interpret the data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypothesis
7. Publish results
8. Retest (frequently done by other scientists)
The retests are done to test if we can find new evidence that will
disprove the hypothesis. This way strong theories will survive and then we can build on those strong theories to actually make things happen.
If you have a theory that is impossible to falsify, like stating that there is an invisible and undetectable pink unicorn between Earth and Mars, then the scientific method cannot do anything with that, since there is no way to
disprove that idea.
Also we should understand that we continuously keep moving forward with explaining our world around us in rational terms, all through the use of the scientific method. If something on this moment is still a mystery then it can be that next year we have a solid, strong theory that holds it's ground. So stating that "science does not know everything, so science is nonsense" makes no sense since it should be "science does not know everything,
yet".
Of course it is unknown if we can ever explain everything in our world in rational terms, but at least we are trying hard and we know it works (again, you are reading this on a device that was made possible due to that same science, pure magic for people 1000 years ago).
DMT-NEXUS AND THE SCIENTIFIC METHODAnything on the DMT-Nexus that is stated as fact should be supported by logic reasoning and evidence. You can coin new ideas but they should make sense and you should make a good case for it.
We all know that it is all too easy to coin a new 'theory' about anything, the hard part is building a case for it that can withstand the critical eye. So if you coin a theory, make it a good one.
CONSPIRACY THEORIESCT's are often the product of paranoia, distrust and misinformation. The mindset of the ones preaching them are often on par with religious dogma, anything contrary to the theory is discarded without logic and the adaptation of anything supporting their theory is swallowed with the same lack of rational thoughts.
We never had a CT thread on the DMT-Nexus without having it end in drama and that for me is already enough reason to ban them, let alone the paranoia parts.
If you feel that this is not for you then you are free to go somewhere else, if however you like to stay then we demand that this mindset of the scientific method, respect and our attitude is accepted and used. It is the only way to share ideas between so many different people with so many different ideas, opinions and viewpoints.
