Hello everyone, I just recently came across information about a new drug that is raging in Russia. That is Desomorphine, or Krokodil. I'm intrigued by this drug because it eats away your skin, so you rot to death. Its very addictive. But I cant seem to find much information about it. I'm not interested in doing it, but I am very curious. Have any of you every encountered it? Tried it? I'm not sure what I am looking for here. I just think that it is mind blowing something could be so destructive. Tons of heroin users are very against it, and seeing the people on it. Its very sad to me. It seems like it is a new evolution to drug abuse. A quick and shorter death than heroin. 2 to 4 years and you croak!

Well I just wanted to see what all you people on the Nexus think. Ive come to really respect your opinions and information.

Oh dude.. Desomorphine.. If people think bath salts turn users into zombies they have NO idea. One of the few drugs I am utterly terrified of Amd refuse to ever come into contact with not only the substance but it's users as well

I heard about this stuff a couple of years ago. My understanding is that it is a potent analogue of morphine with obviously terrible side effects such as gangrene. I heard the side effects are due to it being very impure and all the addicts IV it. I believe OTC codeine is easily available in Russia and super cheap, which is used in the synthesis of desomorphine, explaining why they have a problem with this specific drug.

the problem with desomorphine is it is made with otc adulterated chems / products.

they react codine with some form of eye drops which i believe contain thionyl chloride along with some nasty catalytic reduction with some method of demethylation using adulterated otc products then they end up with desomorphine + pollutants.

its probably the crap in the final product that rots the flesh rather than the synthetic opioid itself.

i believe if they hit the vein its ok, its when they miss it causes the problems and rots the flesh. in one video i saw some of the addicts had lost limbs!

i could be wrong about the exact procedure but this is to the best of my knowledge from watching youtube videos and reading an article a while ago.

These images are one of the craziest things i've ever seen. I'm sure we have all engaged in some self destructive behavior from time to time but this is just . Very sad.
