So, I just got home and felt like I should add some kratom information. I will be writing about dose/effects, time of onset, length of experience and a few other personal notes and such. I feel like I have taken kratom long enough now to write some about it. Note that everything I write in this topic should be taken as my personal experience and opinion. Although it may replicate some of the experience read other places, it is not a copy. This is my own interpretation. That being said let's start with some strains! Green MalaysianAlso called Green Malay. Dose taken: 1.5grams Time to take effect: 20-30 minutes Effect summary(physical): Slight vibration similar to vicodin. Allows user to be relaxed and be meditative with no problem. Also allows user to be up and doing things with no problem. Euphoric. Effect summary(mental): Serene mind set. A sense of things being "okay." Length of experience: Avg. of 9 hours. Personal comment: A nice mix between stimulation and sedation allows for a malleable experience. Well rounded euphoria. Gave headaches after repeated use. "Think more than you speak"

White VeinRed Vein's counterpart Dose taken: 1.2grams Time to take effect: 15-25 minutes Effect summary(physical): An "on edge" feeling. A need to do physical exercise. Uncomfortable with sitting still and meditating. High frequency vibration causing physical agitation. Effect summary(mental): "Quick thinking." Clear thought patterns. Length of experience: Avg. 7 hours Personal comment: I hated it. I enjoy using the computer while taking my kratom and I was unable to do this with this strain. I felt very uneasy. I prefer a more sedative feeling though, someone who enjoys stimulation would love this strain! "Think more than you speak"

Super BaliAKA Bali Dose taken: 1.4grams Time to take effect: 10-20 minutes Effect summary(physical): Euphoria. Slight vibration similar to vicodin. Relaxing, allows user to sit still for almost full experience. Effect summary(mental): "Everything is okay feeling." Serene. Length of experience: 7 hours Personal comment: Personal favorite. I'm glad more people are cataloging the relevancy of Kratom as a worthy plant of research. Also, wondering if you can post the origin of the strain if you happen to know; i.e., Sumatra, Borneo, Indonesia etc.

You should post your method of preparation also, DeDao. Was it tea, powder stirred into water, encapsulated, chewed etc? Did you consume it all at once, or over a period of time? I have found the different preparations and speed of ingestion can make a big difference in what effects are received. I'll pop back in too, and comment on some strains I have tried, when I have more time.

Red BorneoRed Borneo "Bali" (I think) Dose taken: 1gram at 0.00 .2gram at 0.15 = 1.2gram over 15minutes Time to take effect: 10-20 minutes Effect summary(physical): Relaxing, euphoric, very similar to bali. I almost think it's stronger. "rush" almost. Effect summary(mental): Serene, calm, trance-like. Length of experience: 7 hours. Personal comment: Very enjoyable. I may replace super bali with this!
