If you guys can tell me what I did wrong I'd really appreciate it.

I used a lime tek and got great white fluffy stuff.

Got a brand new VG bat not the curly sherlock glass but the small straight one.

Never used the fluffy stuff or the VG before. Thought I had read and reaserached it all but obvioulsy did something wrong.

Ok, got all ready, right atmostphere .... had my friend handle the reg kind of lighter and I held the glass bat. He knew not to hold the flame too close, not to touch the ceramic, studied the pic intructions that came with it and knew too much flame ruins the fluffy stuff that it had to vaporize not burn etc. I also knew to expect a harsh plastic taste and or smell....

Loaded bat with fluffy white, with a layer of blue lotus between the fluffy white and the ceramic. Did not jam the stuff in hard but filled the whole leftover space with blue lotus. I dont feel it was packed tight but I guess I wouldnt call it loose either.

Started to inhale steadily... no vaper nothing. Inhaled stronger no change, tried inhaling faster, tried slower, tried it with the flame a bit closer... nothing, no smell or no taste either.

There was a black area about the width of a cigareete from the opening of the glass bat up to the ceramic thing.

We gave it up for the day. 24 hours later when I looked at the VG glass bat... there looked what looked like melted almost white stuff just above the ceramic toward the open end, it wasnt in the chamber where it should have been, and partially burned blue lotus in the chamber.

When I took apart the VG to clean, the screen looked fine, the ceramic looked ok but one side was totally flat black in color not gray and "wholely" like the other side.... is that soot? Does that mean the flame touched it?

I plan to used enhanced changa next time... the blue lotus was as is not infused or anything.

Also... tried the large size plastice bottle, with aluminum foil like the guy on the internet video... got some small amount of white smoke but it tasted so incrediblly horendous I couldnt keep it in at all. I am not a cigarette smoker, only a smoker of MJ ... have had harsh but nothing like what this was.

Neither method produced hot inhalations but the plastic bottle inhalation tasted way beyond harsh.

any help would be much appreciated.

ive never had very good luck with the VG, or glass bulbs, or any vaporizor ive encountered. my preferred method is the simple one, just use a standard MJ bowl with a small layer of MJ or whatever herb you like, then the spice layer, and then another layer of herbs. light very slowly and be careful not to torch the herbs or spice, the first hit should pretty much melt all the spice, hold in your hit as long as you can!!!! take your second hit about the same way, but it should produce a thicker smoke, make sure you hold it in for at least till the count of ten then release the smoke. at this point most people are content with their hits and on the way to their own world, i usually try to take a 3rd hit and i dont worry about torching it at this point, i actually try to burn all remaining material in the bowl. in my experience i have had the best trips from smoking white spice this way, hopefully it works for you too!!

Your suppose to put the "bed" of herb under the DMT not on top. I personally don't think the glass bat would work that great without the copper mesh but a bed of herb should be ok. Also use a torch.

Yes that black stuff is soot. You need to clean that off.

Get a torch. You want the ceramic to glow red if using a torch. Not necessarily the whole time but I don't think you can hurt it with a small hand held torch.

Read the GVG thread in the smoking sub forum. I read the entire thread before using my GVG and had no problems figuring it out the first time.
