I made some pictures of DMT crystals in polarized light. It was recrystallized from ethanol. The amount used is obviously tiny, less than a milligram. I can't see em either. This has happened in other threads with other people too. I think you might have a image posting malfunction after the update. You lock the door, and throw away the key

Same here... downloaded 3 times now but how?? I still can't see any attached images since the update.
OK I registered at Imageshack, waiting for the registration email, takes a long time... anyway, DMT is not more special under the microscope than everyday substances like sugar or tartric acid. I'll try some alternative crystallizations, more to follow!

SWIM has a 60-100x small pocket microscope, very nice, but cant take a picture from it

SWIM has a 60-100x small pocket microscope, very nice, but cant take a picture from it I didn't keep a log, this was a first tryout of my digital cam on the old Russian microscope I bought when I was 13, looong time ago now... just breathed some new life into this old hobby! I used three objectives 3.7x, 8x and 20x. It's hard to tell what the actual magnification on your screen is, looking through the microscope it would be 27x, 56x or 140x. The lower magnifications suffer from chromatic abberation due to the Huygens eyepiece, the 20x is a very good apochromat. Wow! These pictures look like imagery of distant planets surfaces, like the moon Europa, they have a very topographical feel to me lol. Love em! wow thanx for those pics man my fave is the more blue one like a mountian or wave of spice chillin anything i say is only for fun its all made up i have never done drugs cuz drugs are bad! so forget what i said unless your the kinda person that belives in other worlds/reallitys in wich case you are trippin and maby crazy i mean (hyperspace)come on man thats crazy talk..................................right?
