So I was watching Tron, the original from the 80's. Despite the 80's level computer graphics, it's actually pretty decent!

Then this part came up. It is when the computer lasers him into the digital world. It is very, very much like the visuals I see in the initial wave of DMT. Of course, real life graphics are a little better than 80's CGI, but hey!

I had to share it with yous guys.

This scene was the first thing that came to mind after my first journey...
So linear and digital, it felt like it could not have come from an organic source.

Thanks for the memories P...I may actually go and watch the film again...(Tron v2.0 kinda sucked but the cgi was cool)

I was also addicted the the arcade game for a spell too...Very happy
Damn Grid Bugs always got me...ffft

There are definitely times where it feels to me like when I'm in hyperspace that it feels and resembles very much a computer CGI kind of space. There is such a level of computer precision and aesthetic.

Mmm yes very familiar visions.I see stuff like that at the beginning, then it goes more pixar 3d then as it wares off my vision goes to 2d animation but with more vibrant colours.
I saw Tron at the pictures but Tron 2 was crap (i thought). Biker chicks do rock if you can find one.

I'm glad you folks liked the video! That movie was so far ahead of it's time!

It makes me wonder.... Those mandala graphics were made back in the 80's with pretty weak computers. They are so close to the geometry I've seen in the "chrysanthemum" on DMT. What does that tell us? Are we jacked into a matrix-like computer simulation? Are our brains only slightly removed from computers? Is there some kind of base geometry that composes the universe/multi-verse/any existence?

It's crazy!

Another thing it tells us, is the idea for a DMT video is possible. If they could do that with computers that are super weak, modern computers should be able to nail it.

Haha I love this topic.

I think it is the most interesting and frustrating things about spice because we might not ever exactly find out. It is a grand mystery.

Why does spice feel like an alien computer program? I used to say the visuals are like demo scene CGI. Especially when I have taken changa. I have a feeling that all creative lifeforms will create some sort of computer.

If our DNA was created by some higher power how do we not know that the DNA unravels itself in specific ways and little by little we ramp up the technology that is in our digital/organic drivers. Ultimately in the end technology might be at the very seat of the universe, maybe it all is just some experimental program. Maybe spice is just an easter egg left in the program of DNA just for kicks.

One of the reasons I love Tron is because of Bit. How many films have you seen where a supporting role is played by a floating, pulsating geometric orb? A self-dribbling basketball!

But yeah, I can resonate with the digital/DMT comparison. My DMT experiences always feel very mathematical, with even the most chaotic structures having an elegant seamless logic behind them. Comparing our brains to computers may not be that far off base.

I will have to give this one a watch. Seems way cooler than the new Tron.
