I have been on probation for over two years, and it honestly depends on your state, county, and sample observation facility, and the actual drug testing lab.
Of course they are going to at least do a standard 5 panel drug test on you: Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Amphetamines, Phencyclidine(PCP)
My drug tests are contracted out to a private investigation firm located in my county, by the judicial system here. They send off their samples to Redwood Toxicology, I learned this information by reading the paperwork they ask you to quickly sign and initial before you give them your sample. Upon quickly glancing at my paperwork I can see which extra drug testing methods have been added on top of the routine 5 panel, per order of my probation officer, and generally it's always MDMA and an alcohol test. I have never been tested for a psychedelic on probation but I have heard of it, especially if they suspect you of psychedelic use or if you were caught with psychedelics.
Upon visiting Redwood Toxicology's website I learned that they can test for:
Synthetic Cannabinoids, stimulants like MDPV, Methylone and Mephedrone, GHB, steroids, EtG,(metabolite test to detect alcohol use up to 80 hours after last ingestion) over 600 prescription drugs, extended list of opiates and other narcotics, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene, Tricyclic Antidepressants, methadone and it's metabolites, and Oxycodone.
The good news is, though they can possibly test for hundreds of drugs, this lab does not have any tests for psychedelics. I'd figure out where my samples get sent before chancing it.
Since you were only caught with marijuana, I doubt you'll be subjected to any extended drug tests, I have ingested psychedelics throughout my probation period and my charge is a state jail felony, and I've never failed for psychedelics.
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”
