When r gets some money, he is going to put lsa myths to the test. Using the same extraction for mg, hbwr, and rivea corymbosa, he will do identical extractions, and do a variety of tests. Not just psychoactivity, but uv light reactivity comparisons.
There is something fishy about lsa. We don't know if lsa does anything or its something else. And why some times we have entheogenic experiences and other times just have restless sedation.
My only guess is there are different alkaloid makeups, or the active alkaloid may have different effects depending on the type of salt it is in (probably sounds stupid, but its a guess)

I am curious to know how this turns out. I am planning to do an extraction myself in a couple weeks. Apparently ergine isn't the only active chemical in the seeds.

LSA is easily my favorite trip (I say that because dmt is not a trip. It's so muh more intense) on the visual side it is quite lacking. While colors are slightly more defined and enhanced. You won't get any breathing such as one would on LSD. This is just my experience. But the mental trip is where it really shines. And that is what makes me love it so dearly! How ca this be!? It's utterly impossible!

I wholeheartedly agree - it's very beautiful emotionally Also - when you get to your testing - I found that niacin and ginko biloba (natural vasodilators) help to alleviate some of the vasoconstriction from the ergines. I look forward to your results Pup TentacleYou are precisely as big as what you love and precisely as small as what you allow to annoy you.Robert Anton WilsonMushroom Greenhouse How-ToI'm no pro but I know a a few things - always willing to help with Psilocybe cubensis cultivation questions.

To add to puptentacle, hibiscus tea is a pretty amazing valodilator, as well. I think I'll do the same. I have some HBWR extract made up, and some MG yet to be extracted. I know for a fact that HBWR make me anxious, sedated and generally weird feeling. But that was just eating the seeds. I did have a better experience with half MG seed cold water extract, half woodrose, but that's pretty inconclusive. Be an adult only when necessary.

I heard some people saying niacin makes the trip weaker. Is this true? Or have I been misinformed?
I got a whole bottle of niacin pills but I am reluctant to take them as there are many other options for vasodilators.

I have been playing around with HWBR extracts and have to say that its has very powerful synergy effects with psilocin, especially enhancing visuals but also the mental/self-awareness bit.
I also have the impression that the bio-availability of the different ergot alkaloids are largely dependent on what else is present in your stomach, just as curcumin (tumeric) are a great combo with piperidine (black pepper). I suspect that is also a lot of the deal with peppermint oil, it could be that it increases the bio-awailability of the more easily oxidizable alkaloids by making them absorb faster so that less amounts have time to degrade in the stomach.

I haven't experienced it being weaker for having taken niacin before hand. I've had some pretty strong trips in fact. it would probly help honestly if people stopped saying "LSA" in reference to one chemical..LSH and LSD are also "LSA's". There is a number of lysergic acid amides.. I know it is not a huge deal and we all do it..but it probly does cause confusion over the issue. When we talk about the LSA being active or not in morning glories etc, it just does not make much sense..obviously there is some amide of lysergic acid that is an active psychedelic present, or at least active when in ratio with others.. I have exerpeinced morning glories working very very well with visions on par with heavy doses of mushrooms and ayahuasca once..and then later different seeds doing basically nothing. Long live the unwoke.

Thanks for the reply, I will try the niacin next time. How long before dosing the seeds did you take the niacin? And what dose of niacin?
