Greetings.

I have been a dabbler in the world of serotonergic psychedelics, dissociatives and harmaloids for six years. I was initially attracted to them for medical, scientific and psychoanalytic reasons, but I cannot say my use has been unrecreational.

I became particularly intrigued by an experience with harmala and cubensis which temporarily eliminated and greatly permanently reduced my then godawfully crippling prolonged SSRI withdrawal symptoms.

I am interested primarily in studying the long and medium-term effects of psychoactive use from a variety of perspectives, utilizing insights from neurology and the psychoanalytic and Western esoteric traditions.

I am most interested in hearing from others who have, accidentally or intentionally, succeeded in treating 'psychomedical' issues with psychedelics, particularly akathisia and SSRI and neuroleptic withdrawal, parkinson's, movement disorders and OCD.

Shalom,
D.U.C.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Welcome! I hope you can learn about and possibly publish some positive psychomedical advances from psychedelic use.
We are surprisingly similar.

Hello DrUncleCharlie,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thanks for sharing that Introduction Essay with us - I was greatly intrigued.

Now, are you an actual University researcher or are you like many of us? Personal researchers who are studying ourselves while in college studying chemistry, neuropsychology, biochemistry, . . . ? Or even like those of us who consider ourselves personal researchers but have not been in school for decades? I was really unclear about this . . .

I hope you find the data you are looking for here - needless to say all contacts here must remain annonymous.

Meanwhile, please take a good look around - there are a plethora of subfora on all kinds of interesting topics. There are many scientists here who have done research in various topics and there is groundbreaking research being done on plant identification, analysis and extraction. I suspect you will like what you see.

I'm looking forwarding to learning a bit more about you and again, welcome you to the Nexus.
