I have some AQ1 growing that I'm working on growing out and propagating. So far I just have two small pots but they still need some occasional trimming. I've been saving the clippings by drying them and then freezing them in vacuum sealed bags.

I was getting ready to do this yesterday and the thought occured to me "why am i drying these? is it really necessary? after I thought about it more, I cant think of a good reason not to just skip the drying step and go straight to the freezer. Seems like drying might just give the goodies more time to oxidize?

Afaik drying will only benefit you if you're planning on smoking it. If you regularly take LSD or shrooms, try rolling a couple Phalaris joints for after the peak. Effects are very short lived but quite interesting. Only effective while already tripping on something else, though.

Raw exracts can contain undesirable akaloids. That being said , if you were to wheatgrass fresh grass (of a known variety.AQ1,Brachy,eg.) ,add just enough boiling water to reach 140 to denature enzymes. You would acheive a "fourthripley effect" ,filter green from orange and dry(save) the lovely orange. Fred said . Hypothetically this could harmala changa enhanced.....

There is a lot of information about phalaris out there that needs to be complied and correlated. Some of this has been done...

Anyway losses are reported from both drying and freezing. Fresh grass has better yields, but can also have different alkaloid ratios, for example in some species bufotenine is found in the fresh material but unknown in dried material.

Wow, thanks a lot Albert! That is exactly what I was looking for. Freezing it is.. for now at least until I get a more substantial harvest.

Eventually I'd like to extract from it but for now I'm just experimenting:-)
