so heres the dilly, one has been growing some mycelium in jars, and they transfered it to a grow bag...or as the nonsterile case may be into a bucket...and the bag has grown out!, it is ready to go... one wants to keep the moisture, but also drain some cause there is too much because of metabolites from fungi (and also increase fae as much as possible)...if one takes it out of the bag the block dries out and then you have to deal with making a fruiting chamber, (booo) what is the solution you ask? the hat-tent!! goto your locale usps ask were they have the free priority envelopes (made of tyvek), grab a stack of them and bring to your bag, now you get to open your bag and do any maintenance, once completed get some clear packing tape and take your tyvek envelope. put the envelope over your bag with your block insideuse the sticker made to seal the envelope and stick it to the back side and take a strip of that packing tape and seal the front....now you have a mini fruit chamber go ahead and kick back and watch those pins go nuts in their new special hat-tent! they will have much more space and oxygen to be pleased about and the extra moisture will not escape, worst case you might end up opening it up and spraying it with water once a week (its really easy to reseal)...but i have found it to be unnessisary any questions?
ive received the trans dermal download in the apousal lounge
no disease could possibly survive in such a wiggly environment!
